Self-appointed president Walter Lightspeed is dead and he’s taken the secrets of his wireless power grid with him. After a brief respite from the apocalypse, America has been thrown back into the dark. I have loved every single mad mick book
Revisado: 12-23-23
this is one of my favorite post-apocalyptic novel series, if not my ultimate favorite. I have loved each and every story, the humor in it, the personalities and the storyline. the mad mick is the ultimate bigger than life character. I look forward to continuing to read this series. I can imagine more adventures in the future. I would love to see ricardo, Barb and the mad mick take an international travel to pay tao fang a visit if not the president of China himself.

In the ninth installment in the best-selling Mad Mick Series, several months have passed since Walter Lightspeed demonstrated he could restore power to the United States using his innovative wireless power delivery system. After a year in the dark, America was finally on the rebound. Optimism soared as people imagined an end to the most difficult period in modern American history.

I have loved every minute of the mad mick saga
Revisado: 07-22-23
I have followed the series since locker 9, and have loved every minute of the development of this character and all the stars of the story. I wish so much that this were made into a movie series. I hope it doesn't end. I hope that Connor and his crew go to China to pay the bad guy a visit. it seems like something that they would do, and would set the score straight for America.

Historia
The Mad Mick’s new employer, Walter Lightspeed, has promised great things for America. Lightspeed cleared the way for his rise to power by skimming the dead weight off government, assassinating a legion of career politicians, lobbyists, and agency heads. Now only one barrier remains between him and the presidency—wrangling the support of the military. If he lives that long. Conor and Ricardo have their concerns about Lightspeed, but that’s not enough to make them surrender their lucrative contract work with him.

Revisado: 10-14-22
I have been following this series since locker nine. I hope it does not stop. I love the intrigue, the humor, the character development, the action...and the masterful portrayal by Kevin Pierce. I wish this would become a Netflix series (lol)... the Mad Mick. I cannot speak of this highly enough.

Revisado: 07-21-21
What a fantastic story weaved throughout all of these books. The last episode was quite unexpected. I loved every minute of it, and Kevin Pierce is fantastic and makes the stories come alive. The concept of the series is way beyond anything I have ever read. I truly wonder if the author had the end in mind when starting this series, or if it just developed along to make it interesting. I would like more!!

Historia
In 1885, President Grover Cleveland commissioned a special group of agents to investigate paranormal activities plaguing the nation. Unwilling to accept failure, he granted each the authority to operate outside the law. His directive was simple. No rules. No excuses. Just get it done. Remy Kincaid, the son of a pugilist and sharpshooter, is recruited with the promise of discovering those responsible for his father’s abduction. With the help of his cynical steed, Fable, he heads to the town of Wharton, Texas, to investigate the disappearance of several young children.

A great story
Revisado: 07-21-21
I was hesitant to hear this novel, because frankly I was a little upset that the Rains Survivalist series seems to have ended. I essentially listen only to prepper/apocalyptic novels for fun (aside from work related and personal growth related reading). I had no interest in any kind of western cowboy story. And in addition, the narrator I have come to expect and love from the prior series was not the one reading this. But...I got it anyway because I like how Dr. Bradley tells a tale. I was not dissapointed. Not exactly my chosen genre, but I liked it anyway. Its a western resourcefull gunfighter crossed with the X files. The narration was masterful as well, and I could recognize Dr. Bradleys style and humor throughout. I was sad whem it ended and eagerly await the next installment.

Historia
Robert Hardwick is finally within reach of his family in Damascus, Virginia, but there’s no time to rejoice. His presence at a friend's compound in North Georgia put him on the radar of a corrupt congressman whose only bug-out plan is to take the property of someone better prepared than himself. When the congressman’s effort to take the Georgia compound fails he has little time to find an alternative. He decides to track down the writer from Virginia, a man whose own home should be well-stocked to survive the apocalypse he describes in his books.

Historia
The Alt Apocalypse is the newest ground-breaking series from Tom Abrahams. It explores survival under the most extreme circumstances, but with a twist (and no cliffhangers). This series, which can be heard in any order, features the same core characters in each complete story. But every book dunks them into a new, alternate apocalypse. In Affliction, Abrahams tells the story of a mysterious team of researchers, four college friends, an ex-con, a lonely fry cook, and a secretive group of prepared civilians as they each battle to survive in southern California after an outbreak of a new, deadly disease....

I love this series
Revisado: 06-13-19
this series of books has represented a unique approach to the apocalyptic literature that I have been enjoying for a number of years now. I find it absolutely fascinating that repeated apocalyptic events include some of the same characters. In this last book, there has been a unique sci-fi approach connecting the other books, and other iterations, as they are called. initially I didn't like it , because I want pure apocalyptic literature without a science fiction take. But, I actually find that it adds some depth and interest to the types of stories that I've been repeatedly reading by different authors for the last 6 years. I can't wait for the next one

Historia
Since such a large percent of the wealthiest and most successful people in the world are Jewish, a common question the world over is, "Why are so many Jews so wealthy?" Their secret lies not in their genetics or intelligence, as some have believed, but in their religion. Many of the wealthiest Jews use a code based on Judaism.

disturbing
Revisado: 06-04-18
I have found this book to be misleading and disturbing. As an orthodox Jew, it is clear to me that the author wrote this book to capitalize on the prejudicial concept that Jews have money. The book is clearly not written by a Jew. Nor is the book narrated by somebody Jewish. Therefore this author speaks without any true experiencial knowledge of Jewish concepts in any way and only imagines Jewish religious doctrine based upon his reading of Jewish texts. The lives of almost every Jewish "saint" (tzadikim) going back 2000 years were lived in poverty. While there is nothing wrong with making a living...pursuit of the material is in no way held in high esteem. In fact it is considered by most religious Jews to be bitul Torah...that is, a waste of time that takes away from the study of Torah. If you want to know the actual Jewish thought regarding the respectible path that one is to follow...just read the biographies of any Jewish great leader...the vilna gaon, baba sali, rashi, rambam, etc. Like I said, I think it's misleading and manipulative. The book could have easily been titled...A Christian's Guide to Wealth from the Bible...and should have been.
