Historia
Following the events of Villains Defeat, Jackson Blackwell—the minor god and former Shadow Master—is dead. His empire toppled, his entourage dispersed, and his stain upon the cosmic landscape wiped clean. And that is exactly what Jackson, the newly graduated Titan, wants Eris Pence and the gods of the multiverse to think. After two years of secret training, Jackson is ready to begin his rampage, his mission of sweet revenge. The only things standing between him and his dark desires are a few pesky personality tests and a Titan named Frank.

A welcome return
Revisado: 11-14-23
Oh Jackson.
Get your head out of the gutter, dear reader. It's not that type of review.
In all seriousness. This was a book I didn't know what was releasing, but I'm glad it did. Despite his juvenile demeanor, Jackson is a great character, and do I dare say... growing? it's everything you'd expect from Gibson's series and it hits the spot.
Overall great, and I'll never get sick of hearing Kaffer portraying the characters Gibson sends his way.

Historia
In the small village of Berring, Calder runs the Broken Mug tavern. He was a gifted swordsman and would have been a war hero if only his side had won. His injured leg tells him his days of fighting are over. When a dark portal opens in his village’s main square and orcs stream through it, slaughtering his neighbors and setting everything on fire, it brings with it a second chance. A soldier of light appears and grants Calder a weapon stone so he can help fight against the forces of darkness.

solid

pretty solid litrpg story. the characters were good and the story progression is decent. i feel like there's some sloggish point but the highlights and the end of the book did a really good job of reeling you back in.
narration was done well, nothing bad to say about it

Historia
The Everlasting King has been dealt a blow. The blow has only brought Huon and those he fights beside to the Everlasting King's attention. Though Huon has reached the rank of Low Celestial faster than he had anticipated while destroying one of the Everlasting King's stockpiles of stolen cores, he fears that his newfound strength won't be enough to protect his friends. As the Everlasting King's fleet prepares to sail for Taloniar, their only hope to prevent full-on war between the two continents is to find and destroy the other stockpiles of cores before the fleet reaches its destination.

Solid
Revisado: 08-20-23
as the headline states, North's story is solid. character building through the story is well done, and the story itself does well at keeping you intrigued. my only complaint would be the amount of statblocks included within the main text.
narration was well done, John does a great job and I've been a fan of his other narrations

Gibson does it again
Revisado: 08-19-23
The story of Salem continues, and oh boy, does it continue. M.K. stepped up his game in this one with hitting in the feels. a lot of nail-biting moments, mixed with some unexpected surprises. but as like the others, he nails the voice of his characters so well. well worth the listen if you enjoyed the others.
narration as well, extremely well done and nails Salem flawlessly

What a ride
Revisado: 04-30-23
Book 7 of this series doesn't disappoint. The only downside is having to wait for the next one. The cliff hangers per chapter keep you from stopping. the desire to know how characters manage to pull out of what seems to be impossible situations draws you into listening on. I can't stress how taken aback by Todd's progression with this series and how well he's created this world and characters.

A Change Of Pace
Revisado: 10-27-21
War Chief is soothe great addition to the Goblin Reign series. I was a little disappointed to not follow more of Spicy's story, but Thistle's story in War Chief was a great change of pace to the storyline. Gerhard did a great job giving more insight to the goblin race as a whole, and the suprising amount of humanity within the goblin kind. Continuing seeing old characters being prodiminant to the current storyline was well woven. Overall I continue to be hooked on this series.
As for Gareth, he continues to nail the narrative with such a difficult cast to give life too. outstaning job.

Those dark and terrible things from your nightmares are very real. They walk among us, masquerading as your neighbor, your lover, even your friend. You see, Empire City is full of them...if you only know where to look. How do I know this? Well, for starters the name is Detective Tom Holliday. I work homicide for Special Crimes. My friends, what few I have, call me Doc. And the other reason? I’ve got magic of my own. Welcome to Empire City, where magic and technology co-exist, and humanity endures behind walls of stone and spell-forged steel.

Even better the second time around
Revisado: 10-12-21
Having originally read this book when it first c and out, I was excited to hear someone bring it to life. being my second time through it it was great to revisit the characters Hartog has created. The gritty urban fantasy of Bloodlines was still upheld and projected even through audio. the characters personalities ringing through as well as they did on the page. Though, I was a little disappointed with how Layla was protrayed, it didn't take away from her character or the story. as for the story itself, it's still great and i caught more than i did the first time around.
i really hope to see the second book come to life on audio, and will be waiting impatiently for it

Great Follow Up
Revisado: 03-06-20
I've been anticipating the release of this book, and it did not disappoint in the least. Iespecially loved the change in focus between Spicy and Alma, and the changes that constantly happen with the plans of the characters is a nice addition to a changing plot line. The ending will bring about a suprise.
The narration continues to improve and I feel that Gareths doing great with these characters!
