Historia
Are men literally born to cheat? Does monogamy actually serve women's interests? These are among the questions that have made The Moral Animal one of the most provocative science books in recent years. Wright unveils the genetic strategies behind everything from our sexual preferences to our office politics - as well as their implications for our moral codes and public policies.

surprisingly good!
Revisado: 11-07-16
I found some parts sexist, but it's from Darwin's point of view and obviously a different time...the narrator's voice was tolerable because the information was so interesting. I feel like I have a much greater understanding of evolution and human behavior now.

Historia
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

his voice is annoying
Revisado: 11-01-16
the story was about a whiny rich teenager. It wasn't very good. The guy reading the story had an annoying voice that was hard to listen to. sorry just being real.

Historia
At the peak of his professional career, after having led the Asia Society for nearly a decade, Oxnam was haunted by periodic blackouts and episodic rages. After his family and friends intervened, Oxnam received help from a psychiatrist, Dr. Jeffery Smith, and entered a rehab center. It wasn't until 1990, during a session with Dr. Smith, that the first of Oxnam's 11 alternate personalities, an angry young boy named Tommy, suddenly emerged.

Unsure at first but so glad I listened!

I listened for a few chapters and started to be not so into his voice and snobbishness but I'm really glad I listened to the whole thing, it turned out to be a great story and very informative.
