Four year dud

Aleron has gone so far down the rabbit hole of game mechanics he forgot to tell a story. This was a pretty big disappointment from such a great universe I still don’t know what the point of the story was about. There are thresholds on top of thresholds. It just was too much.

Fantastic as always

Neil and Eric have teamed up again and are the perfect pairing of writer and narrator. The blend of good guys and bad guys story lines is wonderful and he is moving the story forward at a great pace. The only thing I hope Eric gets over is the protagonists abysmal failure on the romantic front. I don’t need romcom but they both can’t be pre teen immature characters that are oblivious to the opposite sex.

Great Story and Narrator

The good guys and Bad Guys series are great as Eric has done a great job intertwining the two story arcs. Keep in mind that some of these stories are continuation stories from one book to the next in certain circumstances. This is the introduction to Clyde and his first immersion into the game, the world and the city. The only critique is seriously, a game environment where both MCs run from any romantic involvement. I get the good guys side but really, with Clyde, no need to go into detail but he is a young adult.

Great continuation of a great series.

Ryan and Johnathan have done it again. A great continuation of Noobtown, great writing, great story telling and world building. Johnathan is one of the best narrators hands down. Variety of dialect, consistency of character and tone, he is truly gifted at his craft and it’s as if this series was written with him in mind.

Dave does a great job building a great story. I love the way he is building conflict in later books. The premise is original in a genre that is overloaded with similar plots. The narrators were fantastic as always.

Excellent Wit and Sense of Humor

In a genre that can be quite similar Ryan Rimmel separated himself from the average author with his sense of humor and storytelling. He also picked a fantastic narrator who was able to capture that wit and carry it home.

John G. Hartness has captured a character with moxy, gravitas, and the maturity level of a 15 year old. That’s why I love it. The story arch is continued to be fantastic and as usual, James Anderson Foster is Harper. No. The names Harker. Lay of the booze I can smell the wild turkey from here.
