I adore this Author, Anne Enright ◇ If my thoughts seem like this delicious, delicate, insightful & strong novel goes about preaching, lambasting or indicating xyz - this is not the case. It's quite delicious, perfect for headphones while doing a light puzzle game.
An exploration of love, for sure, And, the fantasy adults can fall into; + the gaslighting, difficult men, difficult spouses - or spouses made difficult thru the Vagaries of Adults wanting to feel alive in harmless ways that are until they're not quite as harmless as once thought in the non-thought way that occurs as one lives in the moment for a minute.
Set against and with; the very real, actually affected children who course unknowingly along the quiet, unnamed turbulence of the adult's ripples. The unfurling of choices & outcomes unchosen by a child, but equally as lived through - the actions & happpenings of life - reflected against the pureness of their unconscious consciousness .... highlights indeed ... something quite ... deeply true about ~ us.

timely, erudite, current affairs having a very dungeon affair with modern constructs.
Refreshingly neither Main Stream Media propaganda, nor conspiracy, nor fundamentalist dogma.
The greatest thinkers pondered formations of society & it's attendant pressures & needs. Leaders, despots, politburos & Kangaroo courts were the arms of those illuminating & (oftentimes) revolutionary ideas. The poly-sci of hundreds of years of polemics, treatises & doctrine have yielded ... some very rich politicians.

Would it actually were a Shakespearean play.
But, so wonderfully written [★ & Narrated!★ 】 that one feels a gut punch of being involved in it all. Truly here is a book which turns the spotlight on the World as a stage, and we as it's current players - with every role a va

I want to meet these people!! wow & 10 just was the greatest capstone on a mountain of heart and honesty that rose continually throughout these segments. Rose may not be right - they were stories found with a great eye for a person at home enough in their story now - that, in the sharing, we travel with them through their dark night of the soul to arrive at another place.
Love the concept of anonymous. Yes, I said I wanted to know them. ... - but - I had the only thing they really could give me. and I didn't have to rush out and xyz: scour, grab, buy books. I listened and sat with them. Lucky to have that experience.

I am a big fan of Iyanla. To hear her speak to my body, mind and soul was very comforting. I trust her wisdom, but even if you don't know who she is; I think you will find you are loved and held as she guides you to settle into many aspects of ourselves with grace and surrender.. I found this meditation calming and empowering. I will return to it
