Historia
With racial tension dividing a small Mississippi town, what happens when one by one, white residents awaken to find themselves with skin pigmentation as dark as those they despise? In the small town of St. Molasses, Mississippi, the town was so small, there was only one library, one school, one pharmacy, and only one major grocery store. If one wished to visit a museum, shopping mall, night club or movie theater, they’d have to travel a couple miles over to the city of Marmalade to do so. Like most small rural towns, everybody knew everybody.

Eye opening and heart throbbing
Revisado: 03-27-19
Eye opening this story has given a new meaning to racism and walking a mile in others shoes shows that you should be respecting those and understanding those of a different nationality one of the best storylines I've ever come across it kept me interested from the beginning to the end started out with a bang and ended with a kaboom
As far as the narrative i feel she could be a little more exciting at times instead of almost every character having the same oomph but overall she did a good job
I give the overall of the story and narrative a 7 out of 5

Amazing
Revisado: 03-20-19
The story is touching. A lot of people i know go through this and it really details the mental health of a big percentage of people; even people that doesnt know what they are dealing with but this story is great. Keeps me interested from beginning to end. Bien-Aime Wenda is a great author and has a great vision being fortold in this story. Mr. Gates does a wonderful job in voicing the story. The feeling he puts into the reading is the same energy i use while reading on my own. AMAZING WORK TO BOTH AUTHOR AND NARRATOR
