Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

A powerful love story and searing rebuke of a corrupt media
Revisado: 02-12-23
If you haven’t listened to every second of this book or read every word, you shouldn’t be talking about Harry and Megan and nobody should listen to your opinion. This is a powerful testament and memoir.
Of course there are other sides and perspectives to all the anecdotes and events. No person has the full objective truth. But this is as credible as it is powerful. If your truth comes from The Crown or the tabloids or even “serious” journalists then you owe it to yourself to get this account in full.
Why would this be any less credible than an entertainment tv series or someone selling ads based on gossip? I’ve never been a close follower of the monarchy or Prince Harry. Never have I seen the humanity of the people in this family more clearly. They deserve our basic human respect and their basic human dignity. Probably much more.
Hearing this book read by Prince Harry is an experience and I can’t imagine receiving the power of the story by reading by the words myself. I recommend it to everyone.

Powerful and timely
Revisado: 01-15-19
Whether you’re concerned about how we educate and learn as a society in an increasingly uncertain world or are an executive looking to get you, your team, and your company to the next level, this book is a must read for 2019 and beyond. It’s a shame Barry didn’t get to read the Audible version in his own voice and accent but the audio version and narrator make this engaging and accessible for your commute. I’ll be returning to this and the written version again as I try to unlearn and relearn.

Historia
Today, feminism is no longer a dirty word, and women purporting to stand up for women's equality now include high-powered names like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Emma Watson. Hip underwear lines sell granny pants with "feminist" emblazoned on the back. In every bookstore, there are scores of seductive feminist how-to business guides telling women how to achieve "it all".

A vital primer on feminism
Revisado: 07-20-18
I always thought of myself as a feminist. In many ways, as this book has helped me see, I have fallen short of the mark (obviously). An essential reminder that we all (mostly) need to (re)examine the topic and our perceptions and thinking more deeply. I’ll be telling my fellow men to read this and will gladly recommend it to anyone else. Thank you Andi!

Historia
A toxic ideology rules the world of extreme competition and individualism. It misrepresents human nature, destroying hope and common purpose. Only a positive vision can replace it, a new story that re-engages people in politics and lights a path to a better world. George Monbiot shows how new findings in psychology, neuroscience and evolutionary biology cast human nature in a radically different light: as the supreme altruists and co-operators.

A cornerstone of the democratic revolution
Revisado: 07-13-18
This short but powerful book provides a vision of the world as it should and could be, calling on real world examples that give us stars to navigate by. One of the most vital works of the 21st Century revolution to reclaim democracy.

Historia
In 1627 Barbary pirates raided the coast of Iceland and abducted some 400 of its people, including 250 from a tiny island off the mainland. Among the captives sold into slavery in Algiers were the island pastor, his wife and their three children. Although the raid itself is well documented, little is known about what happened to the women and children afterwards. It was a time when women everywhere were largely silent.

A saga for the ages
Revisado: 04-14-18
Sally has spun a marvelously moving tale. It’s a story of women - and a woman, Áste - trying to survive, hold on to family and their own identities in a man’s world, no matter where in the world. It could be a story of 2018, as well as 1628. Katherine narrates the audiobook beautifully, lifting the words off the page in the oral tradition of Áste and Scheherazade.
