It's so meta I love it! I feel like the idea is so original, and also relevant to the issues surrounding diversity and inclusion in modern times. The narrator is so good at performing different voices and personalities of various characters! The character's point of view trying to justify her moral wrongdoings seem to parrot many resentful voices and I cringe sometimes at how unattractive and warped their logic becomes to justify something objectively wrong, and a small act snowballs into bigger and bigger lies. The author also touches on the power of social media in painting the public narrative against an individual. Her description of writing process that is educational for me, and I'm excited to see what the author has in store for the future.

I managed to listen to the audiobook in 2 hours. My heart feels for Britney Spears who gained fame at such a young age that she gets exploited by the people she thought she could trust. I can't imagine what it must feel like to be constantly manipulated for the most part of her life and most importantly being deprived of her own children. The style of writing is not the most exciting but what matters most is the fact that she can finally tell her story in her own words and I spent a lot of time googling the events that she mentioned. I hope she will be able to get the justice and peace she deserves.

In the midst of the writers and actors strike in the US I was curious to know a bit more about the brain behind the success of Disney and its media chains. I loved the content of the book, the journey of Bob Iger which I find humbling and human - I drew a lot of inspiration from his journey. However, I do wonder if he was able to share such nuggets of wisdom profiting despite the wage gap between him and his lowest paid employee. The appendix may sound like a list of cliche leadership quotes but useful reminders for me.

I appreciate Jo Koy's candidness with hard issues such as his family and growing up in a broken home, stepfather and his PTSD, brother's schizophrenia, ex-wife and co-parenting. Those things were hard but he shared it with grace and humor.

I find that many of the comedians original stories were similar but I also appreciated Jo Koy's mix to his upbringing in a Filipino diaspora community. It was a fun light book and I loved his impression of his mother. Many of the jokes were shared in his stand-up but it's fun to see the context behind the jokes.

I'm so glad I listened to the audiobook instead with Kevin Hart himself narrating his personal story it felt like I was listening to a stand up comedy for 10 hours straight and listening as if he's my friend. I kept cracking up in public I blame Kevin Hart for making me look like an idiot laughing to myself. I also appreciated that he was willing to share his flaws as a human, and have empathy for the people he's hurt on his journey to success.

I find myself tuning into the audiobook whenever I have the chance to and I breezed past through the entire book within no time. It must've been hard for the author to share such vulnerable details about her and her family and I can feel her conflict of being trapped between personalities and family trauma and searching for a sense of identity. The author has been through a lot of traumatic experience and I hope that by writing this book it gives her the closure she needs. I wish she could provide more light on some details but I can also imagine how difficult it is to talk about it.

This is a light reading that I managed to breeze through within such a short time, it feels like I was having a conversation with Bretman.

I liked how honest the book was and I was able to see a new side of Bretman that goes beyond his social persona. He is very young and is an inspiration to many queer and immigrant youth, I appreciated that he still has so much pride to his roots and culture which is resonating as someone who is working abroad.

This book gave me a glimpse of Prince Harry's life as a royal and I sympathize with his struggle with the loss of his mother and being harrassed by media but I do not find other parts of him relatable.

I am glad that he's able to tell his narrative on his side of the story using his words but sometimes I feel like the author does not put a lot of thought about others - killing lives (and regretting not pulling the trigger), using substances (and finishing his wife's laughing gas during birth), distasteful remarks and choice of attire and thinking that the entire world is against him.

As someone who despises the media, he is surely profiting off the coverage and publicity so perhaps we should follow his wishes and not be up in his business despite his oversharing. The book could also be edited as sometimes I think it contains many unnecessary details.

When I listened to the audiobook I am excited to try out the exercises, the exercises are gradual and not overwhelming. I am a big fan of design thinking, so this is a fun experiment, I know people who made big leaps in their lives because of the things they discovered about themselves from the exercises. Audiobook might require rereading them because of the details and the exercise, not something we can listen to mindlessly doing chores.

Will Smith is a spectacular performer. when I saw the length of the audiobook I was concerned that I might lose interest but the book was so entertaining with real life clips, funny impressions and songs.

Will Smith was honest about his shortcomings which was interesting to hear.
