Knowing where you come from

I thoroughly enjoyed learning about our past and how we as humans evolved. A bit terrifying to learn of where we may be going. Yuval Hariri is passionate about this topic and shares a lot of interesting information about our past. He is also humorous… “hocus pocus” and “Mary had a little lamb” are some of my favourite snide remarks. Great book if you’re interested in a different view of life. This should be part of a primary school curriculum, not the junk that they are trying to brainwash our children with.

I am quite sensitive and reactive. My boyfriend once called me belligerent because of the way I react. This book has taught me to pause… to consider other people’s world views and respond thoughtfully instead of emotionally. I haven’t absorbed all the lessons in this book, and will most likely need to reread it but it has afforded me the opportunity to respond mindfully and removed much anxiety. Thank you Chris Voss.

Read this book and then spread the word… this book is The Woman’s Bible! I feel that we should read this book monthly until we are able to recite it without looking at it. The information gathered in this book can assist you in a relationship but also in a male dominant work environment and an uncomfortable family situation. These are life lessons!!! The cover is deceiving… these teachings are for all woman ready to act and achieve their goals despite who is standing in their way. I’ve downloaded the Audible version so that I can listen to it while I’m applying my makeup, getting ready for bed / work. We’ve got this Ladies !!!
