Historia
Two days before Christmas 1996, the broken, battered body of Sophie Toscan du Plantier was found outside her vacation home in West Cork, a serene region on Ireland’s idyllic southern coast. Decades later, no one has been charged with the murder, but the aggrieved inhabitants of West Cork are convinced they know who did it - and he still lives among them.

Cork Mystery that Will Not turn you loose!!!!!
Revisado: 02-21-18
I found this by accident when looking for a novel set in Ireland. As a Dateline watcher this was my cup of tea. The story excels in presentation. The commentators, Sam Bungey and Jennifer Forde, have done their preparations and done exactly what a reader/listener wants...tell me a story.
Good job Audible for putting this out for listeners.

Historia
During World War II, a family finds life turned upside-down when the government opens a Japanese internment camp in their small Colorado town. After a young girl is murdered, all eyes turn on the newcomers. Rennie has just turned thirteen and until this time, life has pretty much been predictable and fair. But the winds of change are coming, and with them, a shift in her perspective and a discovery of secrets that can destroy even the most sacred things. Part thriller, part historical novel, Tallgrass by Sandra Dallas is a riveting exploration of the darkest—and best—parts of the human heart.

Good story, history, Mystery, combination
Revisado: 01-18-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Tallgrass to be better than the print version?
Yes. I think a book is better than the movie and audible is better than the book

Historia
Laugh-out-loud funny and deeply touching, Beth Hoffman's sparkling debut is, as Kristin Hannah says, "packed full of Southern charm, strong women, wacky humor, and good old-fashioned heart." It is a novel that explores the indomitable strengths of female friendship and gives us the story of a young girl who loses one mother and finds many others.
