I hope I have this much fun and find such great friends when I'm in a senior community. These stories are so well written. This book doesn't disappoint.

Convoluted?
Revisado: 04-06-25
I always enjoy Myron Bolitar. I think the story could have been better. There was a lot of bouncing around and I'm not s big fan of violence just for violence sake. But maybe that should be expected for this series.

I like Sam's independence, but hate the jumping to conclusions. I am hoping her character continues to grow but the fun continues.

Better than the last one
Revisado: 02-03-25
It's still too wordie. Could have gotten to the same ending with fewer words, plot twists. That said, this book was 100% better than the last. The story was more tight. I can only imagine her story board.

Audio version difficult to follow.
Revisado: 11-20-24
Had trouble with narration. Couldn't decide if it was the narrator's difficulty in doing different voices or if it was more an author issue. But, constant hopping back and forth between characters without much change in voices made me frequently have to rewind to figure out who was talking. Might be a better book in print because of this. Story itself is pretty good, but at least one character was introduced and then completely forgotten later in the book. The book was enjoyable. I did enjoy the descriptions of the landscape.
