Surprisingly good book
Revisado: 04-18-25
Genuinely might be the best overall story Ive heard from the 40K universe. While I love the Carcharodons, their books (while super awesome!) are more brutal killing and tactical outmaneuvering of enemies than plot (this book has that too, but it’s far more balanced all around).
This book really shone through and is really an instant favorite. Buy it. Maybe with a cred though.

Historia
After Isstvan, after Deliverance, the Raven Guard still endure. Their primarch Corvus Corax has rallied countless warriors to his banner, striking back at the forces of the Warmaster on every front - from the degenerate hereteks of the Mechanicum to the cruel legionaries of the Sons of Horus, none shall escape his wrath. But although Corax has managed to stall the physical corruption of his own Space Marines, what of their spirit? And what sinister end must await those who dwell forever in the darkness?

Corax is awesome
Revisado: 04-18-25
Loved all the interactions between Corvus and his legionaries especially. Let’s us see where he draws the line.
If you like corax/the raven guard, this is a very good series of stories, some of which of like follow-ups to the previous. Love the ridiculous amount of Stormbirds and whisper cutters as well.
Last story was a little sad, especially the end, though maybe not what you’d expect.
Would recommend if you like the raven guard.

Historia
On the prison world of Zartak, darkness has fallen on arbitrators and inmates alike. The Night Lords have come, bringing with them the shadow of fear and pain. But these monsters are not the only ones with an interest in Zartak. From the void, running on silent, another fleet emerges. These Space Marine warriors are grey-clad and white-faced, and their eyes are as black as the Outer Dark – the savage Carcharodon Astra.
