I absolutely adore this author’s books, and this series always melts my heart. I can never pick a favorite because each one is so special in its own way.

This time, we get an irresistible friends-to-lovers story. The characters made a pact when they were younger, which leads them to an auction where they end up in Vegas and impulsively get married. But that’s just the start of their journey.

Watching them navigate their new relationship was a total joy. The way they connect and grow together is beautifully written. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, and when he calls her "My wife!"—wow! It’s such a sexy moment that makes you want to keep reading, and it's one of those scenes that totally melts you.

The author does an amazing job of capturing the emotional depth and passion of their slow-burn romance. The way their bond develops is heartfelt and incredibly hot. This book will stay with you long after the last page, and I can't recommend it enough—especially if you love a steamy, emotional romance.

I just adored this book. With very difficult theme and so tender at the same time. A second chance romance is so good to bring you to tears. But also hug you and you will never forgot. Mature and be responsable and finally know what you want and do everything to have what you want. And something beautiful happens when you are not expecting and something tragic collapse your world.

I would be devastated and I cried so much when all that happened and was so glad that love saved everything and when one door closes the other opens. I loved this one

Yes an other 5 star. Can not resist the charaters Lauren Blakely create, wrote about. A crazy attraction and steam what can give else then more steam. The language they use is so seductive that wouls seduse anyone. And the play a difficult game, forbide but there must be a solution. And we have to bet they found it. Can not wait the next one.

Funny and fresh, crazy and steamy. It was such a nice listening for me after work today. It was wonderful wonderful done as always. Two strangers atraction at the first site but they do not know how to reach out. And how to do it? FAITH... desire, determination, strenght, smoth all together wraped in a novel that brings you new poasibilities of dreaming, thinking and simply enjojing. Lovely Blakely

I am deeply touched. I have not cried for "ages" when reading a book. I also pics those who do not make me cry. But when it happens it is really heart breaking. I was thinking a lot about the life we live. We make choices. Some are good and some are bad. But here I really was so proud of this Bill and his wife. On the other way I learned to love Daisy too. One think make me reall really sad that I can not even write it. But it was really a pleasure listening to this book. I am a child born in 1978.
