Historia
There’s something wrong with this city. Welcome to Madripol, city of artists and madmen, city of mushrooms. When a strange plague infects Old Town, Johanna Kolibrik thinks the graffiti messages scrawled all over the city might be right. Kolibrik’s got her own problems, though—like paying the bills and keeping her PI business afloat—so when a well-dressed man from New Town offers to double her fee to find his missing wife, she ignores her gut and takes the case.

Lose yourself in an imaginative, vivid, and original world
Revisado: 04-27-25
City of Spores is a truly captivating story! Austin Shirey has created such a vivid and original world, it pulled me in right from the first chapter. The atmosphere is so immersive, and the characters felt real and relatable. I couldn’t stop listening! Highly recommend this book to anyone who loves imaginative, thought provoking stories sprinkled with a hint of social justice. Five stars!

Very well done

A great summary of the major battles. Podcaster does a great job of dropping facts, quotes, and Easter eggs into each episode without getting off topic too much. I enjoy the fact that it is just the right amount of detail to leave you with a decent knowledge of the battle without having to learn the maiden name of some small time commanders wife(some books just give endless details that are so arbitrary)

Historia
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Top notch story topped only by stellar narration
Revisado: 08-30-21
One of the best works of fiction I have ever listened too. I normally don’t listen to anything even remotely close to this style. I loved it, the author created an amazing world. audible used the best narrator I have ever heard. Jim Dale can make different characters come to life through different voices, pitches, and flawless inflections.

Lackluster with very low production value
Revisado: 03-14-21
Podcast has pretty good content and decent writing but sometimes just horrible production value. Feels like it was edited and produced by a YouTuber in middle school. Example.. catfishing episode you can hear someone clearly chewing gum and once you hear it you can’t concentrate on anything else
