I have no idea what this book was about. Within 5 minutes I couldn’t listen.
I’m a seasoned audiobook listener,,, over 200 books. Never had I made such a statement.

Not for those that get “triggered” by tradition
Revisado: 10-04-21
So many wonderful bits of advice told in a captivating way.
After realizing that my 90 year old father’s physical therapy was entirely painful for all involved with no possibility of recovery, he wound up in hospice. They had him on “comfort care” while they continued to drain his life savings for almost 2 years. There was no effort toward improvement, just a slow “comfortable” drift into the inevitable demise. If that’s what you want for your marriage, skip this book.
This is NOT “comfort care”. Dr. Laura delivers a strong dose of medicine that includes side effect like anger, vulnerability, and God forbid,,,, being “triggered” by a strong dose of honesty about the uniqueness of the sexes. It’s not meant to be comfortable. It’s meant to work. If you are not ready to look in the mirror and work on what you see,,,,, don’t waste your time on this book.
However, if you’re ready to fight like hell and do the hard work (ON YOURSELF!) to win back your your marriage,,, I definitely recommend this book.
—— Written by one of those “big dumb men” that really wants his wife back.

I was expecting more
Revisado: 03-05-13
Billy Goldberg is very entertaining on his show. The book, however, did not go into much depth on the topics. I think that the creative writing focused on interaction between the two authors rather than providing memorable anecdotes about the topic under discussion.
The concept is great, and a rewrite would possibly turn this into a huge hit, but I cannot recommend the book in its current form
