This was my first "cryptid" book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This young author, who also recorded this audio version, did a great job of bringing the characters to life with both the spoken and written word. The book is light-hearted and humorous and consists of a series of encounters with diverse marine cryptids. It kept my interest and I finished it in one afternoon while concurrently doing mindless chores.
