all of it
Revisado: 05-14-24
This book left me speechless. The cruelty and the extent of the horror is overwhelming . And that this went on as the whole world watched and ignored it is both mind blowing and terrifying. My heart screams out how can this be---WHY did this happen!! Also, the extent of the hatred and evil was so far spread into so many countries-so many people. WHY! The strength and courage of this surviving family is incredible. This book should be mandatory reading for high schoolers. Thankyou to the author for writing this book. Praying for God's chosen people.

Historia
Drug Warrior is the story of Jack Riley's decades-long hunt for the world's most wanted drug lord, set against the rise of modern international drug trafficking, and America's spiraling opioid epidemic. Riley started his career as an undercover street agent in Chicago busting small-time dealers. By the time he worked his way up to second in command of the DEA - a post few field agents ever reach - he had overseen every major mission to capture foreign drug kingpins since the 1990s, and had witnessed first-hand how El Chapo changed the game.

regarding some of the reviews
Revisado: 10-26-23
Remember, Jack Riley is not an author. He is a cop and a man of integrity and not, as some reviews suggested, cocky or conceited. He did not take credit for the work of others and he is devoted to making people aware and thereby continuing the fight against drugs. I personally know that there is no exaggeration or self accolades in this book.

many sermons
Revisado: 09-06-22
even though I am a Christian, and I believe in what you were saying, the book went on and on. I felt like I was a teenager again and reading a book and having to stop to go to church, over and over. if written for Christians its annoying because you weren't planning to read a book of sermons just now, and if written for non-chistians, they won't even finish reading it after the start of the 1st sermon. Consequently, the book was a big disappointment dispite the great story line. It went on and on becoming tedious at times.

What was the point? Was this the authors memoirs or true confessions? A waste of time reading pointless blabber! Too bad the narrator wasted her talent on such a useless book.
