Historia
Travis Parker has everything a man could want: a good job, loyal friends, even a waterfront home in small-town North Carolina. In full pursuit of the good life, including boating, swimming, and regular barbecues with his good-natured buddies, he holds the vague conviction that a serious relationship with a woman would only cramp his style. That is, until Gabby Holland moves in next door.

Historia
In You Have a Brain: A Teen's Guide to T.H.I.N.K. B.I.G., Dr. Carson unpacks the eight important parts of thinking big--talent, honesty, integrity, being nice, knowledge, books, in-depth learning, and God--and presents the stories of people who demonstrated those things in his life. By applying the idea of T.H.I.N.K. B.I.G. to your life, and by looking at those around you as well, you too can overcome obstacles and work toward achieving your dreams.

You Have a Brain Review
Revisado: 07-24-15
Would you listen to You Have a Brain again? Why?
Yes, The author shows how powerful your mind is if you use it. He certainly challenges everyone to seek all the adventures available as each will provide you with more skills and knowledge to enable you to be more than you ever thought was possible.
What other book might you compare You Have a Brain to and why?
I can't think of any similar book.
Which scene was your favorite?
The scene where he sees the lab tech job opening at a local college and decides to apply even though he is still in high school. He was able to submit an excellent resume because he had held many lab tech jobs in high school. He had obtained each job because his science teachers had recommended him highly to their colleagues after he had worked with them. However what really made him outstanding to the professor interviewing him was that he loved classical music as did the professor.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Only ok read

The story line was promising but failed to excite. The narrator was boring many times. Just too flat.
