A Story of Generational Trauma and Misogyny

An amazing story that hits on her thoughts about iconic Britney moments e.g. the matching denim outfits, the performance with the snake, etc. while weaving in larger themes and understanding of what her dad faced under her grandfather’s parentage, and how the media treated her versus her male counterparts.
I felt like I really got a sense of her character and personality through this memoir and it adds to the list of things she is very talented at!
-1 star for performance because I felt like there were times Michelle Williams would adopt Spear’s southern accent or voice and then drop it.

Great stories but every Vietnamese word was so badly butchered it was so cringey. Is it that hard to find English speakers that can also speak a few basic words in Vietnamese?

I've only listened to 4 so I guess this is the top 4.
What did you like best about this story?
I love Thurber. The Danny Kaye movie was one of my favorites when I was little, as well as the story. I'm looking forward to seeing Ben Stiller as Walter Mitty.

Probably the wife, the nagging is perfect.
