Historia
Rookie forward Isaac Rivera is still finding his footing in the big leagues where he’s no longer the best player on the roster. It’s a whole new world, especially now that several of his hockey idols have become teammates. Friends, even. There’s one who’s more than a hockey idol, though…and he might end up being more than a friend.

Amazing narration of a great story!
Revisado: 05-10-24
LOVED the character voices and seamless conversations and transitions…can’t even imagine how difficult that must be to perform! And the emotions, action, and steam were very well-balanced in both the story itself and the narration. There was a lot of all three, and it could’ve easily devolved into overdramatics but never did. Really great listen, and well worth the long run-time.

Tal Bauer brought to life by Joel Leslie!
Revisado: 01-22-24
One of my favorite authors read by one of my favorite narrators?! Yes, please! Mr Leslie absolutely brings the many and diverse characters of a Tal Bauer international romp to vivid life with his impeccable interpretation. Both the dramatic and tender scenes are handled with perfect finesse, and even the fast-paced courtroom banter flows smoothly with easily differentiated voices for each character. Honestly, the only ones I had any trouble separating were the MCs, but Mr Bauer’s writing makes it easy to keep up. In tandem, these consummate professionals deliver a gripping and emotional story that keeps the reader engaged til the very end. Could happily listen to these two collaborate forever!

My name is Hudson Newgate, but my teammates call me "New Guy". That was my nickname in Chicago, too. And Vancouver. That’s what happens when you keep getting traded. Brooklyn is my last chance, especially after my poor performance last season.

LOVE me a Sarina Bowen hockey story! 🏒

Two of my absolute favorite narrators - Squee!!!
Fold together gently with generous amounts of steam, spice, and sweetness, listen for approximately all the hours in a row, and finish with a tear or two toward the end when you hit the epilogue and realize the story is nearly done. Audiobook perfection. Thank you all for another wonderful listening experience. ❤️

Historia
Toby never meant to be a highway robber, but needs must. He didn’t plan to impersonate a top London valet either, but when the chance comes to present himself as the earl of Arvon’s new gentleman's gentleman, he grabs it. Unfortunately, the earl is the man he seduced and robbed on the road to get here. Oops.

Delicious little tale!
Revisado: 12-06-22
Packed a lot of pure KJ Charles fun into a sweet, tart, steamy, quick romp. Perfect for a couple of hours in the car! Narrators were excellent at differentiating the MCs and giving each his own voice. Just a few instances of slightly stilted reading rather than acting, but overall very well done. Always love the details and emotion in a KJ Charles story, and particularly impressed with the well-developed story arc in this novella.

Historia
Among his eccentric though strictly principled group of friends, Lord Richard Vane is the confidant on whom everyone depends for advice, moral rectitude, and discreet assistance. Yet when Richard has a problem, he turns to his valet, a fixer of unparalleled genius - and the object of Richard's deepest desires. If there is one rule a gentleman must follow, it is never to dally with servants. But when David is close enough to touch, the rules of class collide with the basest sort of animal instinct: overpowering lust.

Revisado: 04-16-22
My favorite of the series. KJ Charles writes a cracking good story with intrigue and spice to spare. And Matthew Lloyd Davies is a genius of a narrator. Flawless interpretation of all of the many characters, with unique voices carried consistently through multiple books…masterful! Highly recommend, but start at the beginning of the series if you can to get the whole story.

Historia
Two years ago, I made a mistake, a big one. Then I added a couple more just for good measure. I screwed up my life, but I survived. Now I have the opportunity for a fresh start. Two years in NZ. Away from the LA gossip, a chance to breathe, to rebuild my life. But I’m taking a new set of rules with me. I don’t do relationships. I don’t do commitment. I don’t do white picket fences. And I especially don’t do arrogant, holier-than-thou, smoking hot K9 officers who walk into my ER and rock my world.

Great start to the series!
Revisado: 03-08-22
Loved the storyline, emotion, snark, and characters. Backstories of the MCs really fortified the plot. Excellent supporting cast and interesting world. Jay Hogan is always good for all the feels! Really love Gary Furlong’s narration, but the American accents were a little cringey…only downside to this book, and definitely not a deal-breaker.

Historia
The tide is turning against the colonists in the Revolutionary War, and 18-year-old Elizabeth Morris cannot sit by idly. Quietly disdainful of her Tory parents, who drag her along to society events and welcome a British soldier into their home during their occupation of New York City, Elizabeth decides to take matters into her own hands. She realizes that, as a young woman, no one around her believes that she can comprehend the profound implications of being a nation at war - she is, effectively, invisible. And she can use this invisibility to her advantage.

Great quick but gripping read!
Revisado: 07-07-21
Loved this for an afternoon in the car. Very interesting story, with author’s note describing research and historical connections. Quick and straightforward to the point of spareness…would have loved to get to know the characters better! Could easily be fleshed out into a very interesting novel. Performance was well done and engaging. Would definitely recommend for mature tweens on up…will encourage my 13yo daughter to listen!
