I appreciate this book. This is candid information that I would never have grasped had this book not been available. There are a great many things I have learned and now know others have experienced or do experience.

Historia
Caroline Overington's stunning fiction debut is a multi-voiced novel centred around a child's death and its terrible repercussions. In 1982 Victorian police were called to a home on a housing estate an hour west of Melbourne. There, they found a five-year-old boy lying still and silent on the carpet. There were no obvious signs of trauma, but the child, Jacob, died the next day. The story made the headlines, and hundreds attended the funeral. Few people were surprised when the boy's mother and her boyfriend went to prison for the crime.

Very well done!

I started this without even reading the description and was very pleased. I listened while at work and finished it without an interruption. I couldn't wait to find out.
The way each character shares their thoughts, recollections and personal feeling was very interesting and in a way added an extra dimension to the story. I will actively seek more from this author!
Thank you

Historia
Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

Stephen King never disappoints.
Will Patton has the voice(s) to bring this story to life. I was excited to have experienced this long awaited sequel.
