Advanced leadership development
Revisado: 10-22-21
If you’re bored of the same old leadership mumbo jumbo, this is a great book that shares more books for those looking for something at the 401 level. Well written, salient points, thoughtful explanations of the authors and relevant leadership highlights to wet your whistle, or not. Just what I needed to continue my lifelong pursuit of development and study on the topic of leadership.

Revisado: 03-25-19
This book did a marvelous job of documenting the singular focus of Dr. Billy Graham. His focus on the will of God is a testimony to the reader and Lines out ways in which we too can experience success in this life as we live strong and finish well. The book was engaging and useful.

1 of my top 3 best leadership books of all times
Revisado: 08-16-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
If you want the essence of leadership distilled with scientific precision with practical applications to use today, this is your book.
What other book might you compare The Leadership Challenge to and why?
John Maxwell's 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and call me a freak, but John Maxwell's Study Bible where he mines leadership gold out of the scripture. Leadership powerhouse books.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but this was good. Typically I hate books read by the author because there is nothing like a professional narrator, but this was good.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did laugh when I built my interview question and answer study notes on the concepts of this book and described my leadership skills and abilities using the five major themes of this book, and got called for a second interview! I'm convinced speaking to the five themes will result in securing my next job.
Any additional comments?

Revisado: 01-05-14
If you could sum up Truman in three words, what would they be?
Imperturbable great leader
What was one of the most memorable moments of Truman?
His personal handling of his second campaign for the presidency. The whole world was against him and yet he believed in himself. Further he was cool, collected and in control of his emotions. His behavior was admirable and consistent.
Which scene was your favorite?
I enjoyed his initial experience as a Company Commander. Beautifully written to capture the essence of the experience.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
His understanding of the devastation the A-bomb would cause. He understood the gravity of his ability to annihilate life with the power of one decision.
Any additional comments?
Kudos David McCullough! This was a book every America should read.
