Brought back so many of my great Eventing memories from many year’s ago with my wonderfully talented mare that never stopped at anything and could jump everything! Boy ~ was I a lucky girl!!! ♥️
Piper Goodeve does such a marvelous job and Natalie Keller Reinert needs to give us some more excitement and excellent listening and reading!!!

Every moment of listening made it difficult to stop the book at all. Hated that it ended and wanted more. Wonderful story of a great and honest man that was tortured by the greed of other humans and their ignorance of kind people as this man... This world needs more kindness towards all people.

Though the man is of age, he is generally considered a half-wit, even by the doctor. Still, Sandy has a fabulous gift: He can communicate with animals.

What a Great Book to give a listen.

Just my opinion but, I enjoyed this book so much! It took you around every corner, nook and cranny and did not let you go. Sometimes you thought it was slowing down and nope - the action was just waiting to attack again. I have listened to a few of Max Brand’s stories and really missed them when they were over! Not a big fan of western’s but, really love Max Brand!
Hope you enjoy some of Max’s books!

Ralph Cosham does such a super narration! Francis, with his expertise in horses gets you right where you need to be in one of his stories. Even though I ave read all of his books, I love listening and seeing how well I remember what happens in the end!

Just for the heck of it I thought I would give the sample a listen. Sure glad, the story kept me the whole time and hated that I had to stop until the next day and now it is done. Wishing it was longer and wanting more. The best Western I can remember!!!

This story would never let me go and when the unexpected ending occurred, my heart was sadden by the loss of Elizabeth Gaskell.
Prunella Scales was very spectacular in her narration! I listened to all of the samples of the different narrators and Prunella Scales lured me straight to this version.
