Great Action, decent character development. It immerses the listener into the fantasy, and your hooked on the drama of the characters. Don’t get unless you want a carefree ride into another universe.

But unlike the others, Harris is an outlawed model - one with independent thoughts and an addiction to violence. Presumed dead after his troops were massacred, Harris - who blames the U.A. for the slaughter - has gone AWOL as a bounty hunter. Still, it’s hard for a clone to overcome his conditioning, and Harris finds himself drawn back into the U.A.'s service by his mentor and creator, Fleet Admiral Bryce Klyber.

It finished in a cliffhanger. The background music was a good complement to the action sequences.

The Age Of Series, mirrors our own world history, by following living heroes in their own time as mortals, and shows how those same historical figures become legends through the ripples of time.

To date this has been one of the best written, fully immersive, and professionally directed, and performed Fantasy Drama Podcasts I’ve found. Full disclosure here, I’m going to fund season three, direct through their site, with my next surplus cash.

Not a good pick, for a new tourist to Arlan.
Revisado: 05-29-22
It’s a good story, but the listener, is dependent on being familiar with Micheal J. Sullivan’s earlier works the Ryria Chronicles, and THE AGE OF, series, to truly enjoy it. Otherwise, a listener being familiar with another fantasy author’s world of Elves, Goblins, etc.. would just lost, and frustrated. Author’s make up their own world, and the races, and species that occupy them, follow the rules, of that particular author. Tim Gerard Reynolds does another great performance as narrator.

Historia
When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity. Cloning, feel-good drugs, anti-aging programs, and total social control through politics, programming, and media: has Aldous Huxley accurately predicted our future? With a storyteller's genius, he weaves these ethical controversies in a compelling narrative that dawns in the year 632 A.F. (After Ford, the deity). When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.

32 years of difference.
Revisado: 09-08-20
I read this work by Aldous Huxley at 17, at the advice of a non academic mentor, book seller.
It was compelling then, and though the concepts explored in it had already been put in practice by previous generations to my own, I could understand why they had revered the author.
At 49, listening to Micheal York narrate the same story, but with more experienced ears, it is still “A Brave New World”.
