Historia
Mark Randall lay dead in a field near Lowacre long before Smith had done what he had to do in Belfast. By the time he went back to work, the investigation was well underway. "It's not my case," he says more than once, and he really doesn't need it to be; he has enough to think about as it is. But going around the Norfolk countryside dotting the i's and crossing the t's, speaking to the local farmers and the Brothers of St. Francis from Abbeyfields, Smith begins to suspect that the investigation might be heading in entirely the wrong direction.

Interesting story
Revisado: 11-02-17
Kept my interest through out. The story line was unusual. I enjoyed the detective , DC Smith however the story just focused on the detective. Everyone else was in the background. Even D C Smith seemed dull. Over all the book was a good listen.

Too much food all
Revisado: 10-27-16
Started off ok but the plot evolved around football plays. Very boring. Many things that happened in the plot was not realistic. No one seemed to be upset when there was a kidnaping. Even the FBI left for D.C. With no one looking for the victim. At the end of the plot she was discovered.

Historia
What happened to Jacques Gaillard? The brilliant teacher at the École Nationale d’Administration, who trained some of France’s best and brightest as future prime ministers and presidents, vanished ten years ago, presumably from Paris. This ten-year-old mystery inspires a bet—one that Enzo Macleod, a biologist teaching in Toulouse, France, instead of pursuing a brilliant career in forensics back home in Scotland, can ill afford to lose.

Interesting but predictable
Revisado: 08-31-15
The plot was interesting enough but the charters were predictable. Everyone was sweet and you knew they would be a good guy in the end. It was however a nice twist when the killer became known. Overall a good read.

Entertaining
Revisado: 07-23-15
Light entertainment. Short but sweet. The main character was funny but sometimes over the top.

Historia
Ephram Jennings has never forgotten the beautiful girl with the long braids running through the piney woods of Liberty, their small East Texas town. Young Ruby, “the kind of pretty it hurt to look at,” has suffered beyond imagining, so as soon as she can, she flees suffocating Liberty for the bright pull of 1950s New York. Ruby quickly winds her way into the ripe center of the city - the darkened piano bars and hidden alleyways of the Village - all the while hoping for a glimpse of the red hair and green eyes of her mother.
