Honestly, after reading some reviews, I fully expected something incredibly cheesy -which it did start off as, initially. Damsel in distress saved by night in shining Armor and all that...
Even so, i soon began to love the growing attraction between the characters and I have to admit, although it was dangerously quick, only spanning a few days -not even a week, even some people in real life in other cultures know just as quick as they did.
Chase truly was a gentleman throughout, despite all the conflicts he felt. I do wonder if this would play out well in reality, but still, it would be nice if everyone experienced a Chase at least once in their lives, haha.

I absolutely cannot wait to find out the rest of the Sullivan's stories! I've grown attached already.
Also, compared to other stories the narrator had voiced, she sounded rather nasally this time. perhaps she was ill. nonetheless, I look forward to her other recordings!

Awkward on so many levels

It turned out to be a story that just isn't my style. On top of that, despite the great efforts of the narrator, I really don't think he should do these sorts of stories -it just doesn't suit somehow.
Additionally, the male lead eventually got on my nerves. So much that I honestly couldn't continue anymore (even after skipping chunks of the chapter). This totally wasn't romantic in my opinion -at all. 😣

The more I listened, the more I loved it!

At first I rather disliked the main character for her bratty, diva behaviour and then began to pity her as the story developed.
I thoroughly enjoyed how the story played out, even when it started getting intense towards the end - but I loved every second of it!
I even came to the conclusion that everyone needs a Cole in their life LOL He's just too sweet. 😍

Decent, drama worthy story - awkward voicing

I honestly enjoyed the story thoroughly; the characters well described and heart racing intimacy! Although, there were so many repetitive sentences throughout a chapter describing the same thing over again. Regardless, the story really had my interest piqued.
However, for the narrator to do so many different character voices, especially the male ones, who sounded relatively the same if not to calm or monotonous at times (except the judge, simon and jessica).
Due to this, I began the story hating almost all the character voices as it just made me cringe, in particular, the main character, Izzy, as her voice got on my nerves sounding far too flat when I imagined she ought be more riled with anger and emotion. Other than that, despite the slow progression of the first 1/3 of the story, the ending is well worth it all, in my opinion.

Way better than ever anticipated! 😄

I'm not one for narrators doubling up as all characters -especially women doing deep guy voices -but this was humorously done! plus you can differentiate between each character.
i love the story so much! although i feel sorry for the main character - Gossip sure travels fast in baldknob. nonsensicaly quickly -yikes! I'd hate to live there.
I would definitely recommend this listen as the story unfolds at a reasonable pace! by the middle, it almost becomes a mystery! The romance isn't cheesy or cringey or an x-rated fantasy either, if anything, it's sweet and realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and would absolutely listen again on repeat! 😊

I absolutely loved watching the odd adventurous music videos of yellowgold on YouTube!! 😃 I've already replayed the audible story twice a day since its release!
The music is ridiculously catchy for kids and adults alike! Even the quirky musical sound effects remind me of those random 70s/80s kids programmes! 😂
Really, it is a great listen! The storyline is hilarious and relatively relatable! 😄
