Historia
In the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump and many around him, including certain other elected Republican officials, intentionally breached their oath to the Constitution: they ignored the rulings of dozens of courts, plotted to overturn a lawful election, and provoked a violent attack on our Capitol.

Very interesting history of Anne Boylen and Queen Elizabeth the 1st. I feel like Anne got the last laugh, by having her daughter become Queen and reign for many years.

Historia
The first Plantagenet king inherited a blood-soaked kingdom from the Normans and transformed it into an empire that stretched at its peak from Scotland to Jerusalem. In this epic history, Dan Jones vividly resurrects this fierce and seductive royal dynasty and its mythic world. We meet the captivating Eleanor of Aquitaine, twice queen and the most famous woman in Christendom; her son, Richard the Lionheart, who fought Saladin in the Third Crusade; and King John, a tyrant who was forced to sign Magna Carta, which formed the basis of our own Bill of Rights.

Good thing the story was interesting
Revisado: 07-21-22
The story was interesting. However, the narrator was very dull. If I hadn't really wanted to learn this there's no way I would have finished. Glad I could use a credit instead of paying full price for this.

Historia
Andrew Roberts' Napoleon is the first one-volume biography to take advantage of the recent publication of Napoleon's thirty-three thousand letters, which radically transform our understanding of his character and motivation. At last we see him as he was: protean multitasker, decisive, surprisingly willing to forgive his enemies and his errant wife Josephine.

My daughter and I really enjoyed listening to this. Natration is great. Mr. Lee should be commended for the care taken to get all the pronunciations in their respective languages.

Historia
The Fens is Britain's most distinctive, complex, man-made and least understood landscape. Francis Pryor has lived in, excavated, farmed, walked and loved the Fen Country for more than 40 years: its levels and drains, its soaring churches and magnificent medieval buildings. In The Fens, he counterpoints the history of the Fenland landscape and its transformation with the story of his own discovery of it as an archaeologist.

while I don't have a desire to live somewhere flat like the fens, it was very interesting and educational. Francis Pryor has a very soothing voice, easy to understand and his enthusiasm is wonderful.
