Coud not stand the female narrator' voice

I couldn't finish the audible version of this book and switched to finish reading it through Kindle Unlimited. The female narrator's voice was so irritating.

It’s hard to fathom the character, Henrik , sacrificed his career over an encounter with a woman that lasted, what 10 seconds? I found Ailish’s naive belief she was capable of escaping from her father with no real survival skills not plausible. And the situations in which Ailish and Henrik chose to get busy - in her father’s home on several occasions that were not too smart considering the location. I found myself annoyed too many times with these two characters.

Enough of the coffee references

I'm just disappointed in the story. It was weak and the constant references to coffee were unbearable. I've read the first 5 books in the series the plot was much better. I've tried the audio version of the latest books in the series and I'm not a fan of the narrator. For me the series ended with me feeling annoyed and frustrated especially with the two main characters Jack and JJ.

Narration was horrible

I'm in agreement with other reviewers who mentioned how awful the narration is. Through the majority of his reading, Cendese seemed angry. His voice was irritating and it was a chore to listen to this book. I'll suffer through volume 3 because I want to finish the series, but since he too is the narrator it will be a painful experience.

Up until this book, I’ve read this series and was looking forward to the audible version. The narrator was a poor choice her voice was irritating. I did not enjoy this book because of it.

I’m so disappointed and extremely frustrated with these 2 characters Marjorie and Bryce. At 38 years old Bryce as written in this story is so immature it’s maddening. And the writer’s frequent repetition in the story about Bryce’s angst about his father’s mustang, Marjorie’s childhood bedroom, repeat, repeat, repeat. ENOUGH! The narrators’ voices were all ingratiating. If I finish this series, I’ll do it without audible’s narration.
