This needed a trigger warning
Revisado: 03-07-25
I’m not sure how to describe this other than the one chapter about the little blond girl was by far the sickest thing I’ve ever heard-ever. I love true crime and CSI, but that was so disturbing. I can never hear anything like that again. I am just sick and hope I can get that out of my head forever. I really thought nothing could shock me. But that did. I wish I hadn’t heard it.

Receptionist Pam Beesly and accountant Angela Martin had very little in common when they toiled together at Scranton’s Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. But, in reality, the two bonded in their very first days on set and, over the nine seasons of the series’ run, built a friendship that transcended the show and continues to this day.

Wow-what a train wreck!
Revisado: 01-13-24
Love Can Build a Bridge has always been a favorite of mine-not because I feel it’s 100% true-but because Naomi is a great story teller-not a truth teller. But River of Time is exactly what it boasts itself to be-a look into the mind of the mentally ill. Although it’s hard to tell how much is mental illness and how much is just consequences of all that Naomi has done to others over the years. The bitterness and backbiting is loud and clear in this book. She wants badly to be a victim-but it’s obvious she is only a victim to not being able to convince people that she’s a victim. Either she lied in the first book-or she’s lying in this one. Either way…her ego is off the charts! She goes on and on about how badly she’s been treated-but excuses her own bad behavior every chance she gets. Her mistakes are a result of everyone else’s poor decisions-and hers are the only ones that are forgivable. She suffers from a self-delusion more than mental illness. It was hard to continue listening until the end-but I did in hopes that she would come clean with herself. She never did.
