Worth the listen!
Revisado: 03-30-23
I truly enjoyed listening this book! RC Bray has a way of bring this type of book to life. Wic reminds me of the hard-core Marines in my family. Loved every minute of this book and may not wait for my next credit to get book 2.

Better than to movie. Though some parts of the 2nd half were not necessary.

Historia
Going to Hell has never been on my bucket list...until now. The fact that I can speak that sentence without laughing or losing my mind is absurd. However, my life has veered into a very tricky tale that rivals any of my books. The villain has been banished. I’ve written her right into an infernal doom. Unfortunately, a few of my very dear friends, fictional and real, have been caught up in the horror story, and they’ve taken the trip down under as well. It’s my fault, and I can only see one way out...a plot twist of epic proportions.

Just as funny as the first 2
Revisado: 08-10-22
I loved this book just as much as the first two. I laughed out loud so much and just when I thought the story was ending she wrapped up another lose end I forgot about. Great trilogy!

With the darkness on the horizon, I need to clear my name and get to work. Forming a Goodness Army is on the top of the list. Shockingly, my army consists of my wacky-tabacky-smoking aunt, my high school counselor who can shift into a house cat, the town gossip who turns invisible after downing five beers, and a few fabulous others with nefarious talents. And of course, a cast of fictional characters...who I created and definitely have an opinion on how I should proceed.

Great stories, Not so great narrators
Revisado: 05-01-22
The stories themselves do not disappoint. The narrators do disappoint though. From grating to underwhelming the narrators for this series of stories were disappointing.

Historia
Audie Award, Humor, 2016. In Furiously Happy, number-one New York Times best-selling author Jenny Lawson explores her lifelong battle with mental illness. A hysterical, ridiculous book about crippling depression and anxiety? That sounds like a terrible idea. But terrible ideas are what Jenny does best.

Furiously Funny!
Revisado: 11-03-15
I listened to this on my phone, in the car on the way to work, with my 4 year old in the backseat...when I burst out laughing he'd ask, "Mommy are you ok?" That was a loaded question!
As someone who struggles with depression and ADD, I loved listening to this book and finding that I am not the only one who carries out awesome conversations with others in my head. This book had dizzying highs filled with head shaking laughter followed by insightful thoughts on mental illness.
Ms Lawson's description of how she deals with her illnesses is both funny and sad. And solely her's.
