Very useful logic map for the serious poker player
Revisado: 11-03-20
I ended up getting more out of this book than I expected. Jared is fantastic at laying out the logic map for navigating the mental game of poker. Only thing I would have liked is for him to have put more of a pause in between new subject matter. I also feel like you would be better off going through this book with a physical copy rather than audiobook. All in all a very useful tool for the serious poker player

Historia
It's true that Maria Konnikova had never actually played poker before and didn't even know the rules when she approached Erik Seidel, Poker Hall of Fame inductee and winner of tens of millions of dollars in earnings, and convinced him to be her mentor. But she knew her man: a famously thoughtful and broad-minded player, he was intrigued by her pitch that she wasn't interested in making money so much as learning about life.

Couldn't stop listening
Revisado: 10-27-20
Very captivating! I often struggle to listen to an audiobook for more than a couple hours at a time but I couldn't stop listening to Konnikova. As a poker player, it was especially enjoyable but this book is written in a way that even if you've never even heard of poker, you will take away just as much enjoyment
