Historia
In lyric, accessible prose, Carlo Rovelli invites us to consider questions about the nature of time that continue to puzzle physicists and philosophers alike. For most listeners, this is unfamiliar terrain. We all experience time, but the more scientists learn about it, the more mysterious it appears. We think of it as uniform and universal, moving steadily from past to future, measured by clocks. Rovelli tears down these assumptions one by one, revealing a strange universe where, at the most fundamental level, time disappears.

Beautiful
Revisado: 08-22-21
This is an incredibly beautiful book. I'm sure the original is amazing and this translation is poetic and deep and the narration is the absolute best you could possibly hope for in anything you happened to be listening to. I look forward to experiencing this many times over. Thank you to everybody involved in this production.

Great book
Revisado: 06-23-21
I think this book was wonderfully insightful and I'm already implementing its protocols. As for the narrator, I set my playback speed at 125% and I feel made a great improvement to the otherwise whiny, indifferent tone he seemed to have.

Historia
Can a well-programmed machine do anything a human can - only better? Complex algorithms are buying our groceries, picking our partners, and driving our investments. They can navigate more data than a doctor or lawyer and act with greater precision. For many years we've taken solace in the notion that they can't create. But now that algorithms can learn and adapt, does the future of creativity belong to machines too?
