I have read several of this authors book and have never been more disappointed.... finally used it to go to sleep with.

Feels more like a "Novella" in the series

I've read all of the books in the series and would give them all either 4 or 5 stars. This one seems lacking in character development. If it was the first you read, you would be lost. Many of the regular characters are never heard from directly other than referring to them.
