I think Am I Depressed is a really important and helpful book for those, like me, who have struggled or who think the May be struggling with depression. I believe that a lot of times, people with depression don't understand what is "wrong" with them and blame themselves for their unhappiness. This book deserves five stars because it covers thoroughly the signs and symptoms of depression, and identifying these is key to a depressed person's recovery. This book also offers advice for more holistic methods of healing, which I really appreciate. The section on color therapy was particularly interesting, and something that I plan to try in my home.

I would recommend this book to anyone who thinks they may be struggling with depression, as well as to those who have friends or loved ones who are struggling.
