We'll explore how constructive judgment can foster growth and understanding, while harmful judgments can damage relationships and create unnecessary rifts. As crunchy moms, it's easy to judge others based on their parenting choices, but it's essential to remember the importance of empathy and compassion. Defining Terms is Helpful
Revisado: 08-07-24
I have been listening for a couple of months and really enjoy the podcast and your honesty and that you don't shy away from some uncomfortable topics. I think that "judgement" has been misused in this current age. As Emily said, any time you make a choice, you are making a judgement. That is a normal part of life and nothing to be ashamed of. The topic, as y'all discussed it, seems to be more about condemnation, rather than judgement.

A touch of computer keys, a blast of heat, and suddenly the Murry twins, Sandy and Dennys, are gasping in a shimmering desert land. If only the brothers had normal parents, not a scientist mother and a father who experiments with space and time travel. If only the Murry twins had noticed the note on the door of their mother's lab: Experiment In Progress. Please Keep Out. But it's too late for regrets.

Story is great but this narration performance is awful. Several intense moments. would not recommend for kids under 10.

Great Story!
Revisado: 10-23-21
Such an entertaining and fun way to learn about the history of the crusades and King Richard. The narrator's voice was a bit annoying. I would definitely try to find another version in the future. Our entire family enjoyed this and we listened to it on a cross-country trip together.

Thank you Cindy & Dawn!
Revisado: 08-06-21
I first learned about Cindy from the former podcast and after reading her book Mere Motherhood and following her over to the Lit Life, I have longed to learn more about the practical application of CM's philosophy. Thank you for breathing new life back into this podcast and being obedient to the Holy Spirit and trusting the Lord's timing. I'm excited to learn more as you progress through the seasons.

Classic Stories and Fairy Tales are the Best!
Revisado: 06-08-21
We listen to this often in the car and my son enjoys listening on his own, too. It is so great to have the peace of mind to know that there is quality content available for him to safely hear. I like the lost and found words before the story and that Sir Bradley puts them in context.

Experienced teachers Angelina Stanford and Thomas Banks (of www.HouseOfHumaneLetters.com) join lifelong reader Cindy Rollins (of www.MorningtimeForMoms.com) for slow reads of classic literature, conversations with book lovers, and an ever-unfolding discussion of how Stories Will Save the World. And check out our sister podcast The Well Read Poem with poet Thomas Banks.

My favorite podcast!

My favorite podcast!
Revisado: 03-26-21
I've been listening to LitLife since it began and every single episode is like a graduate level seminar in literature, without the pretension and student loan debt. Angelina's knowledge & passion combined with Cindy's wisdom, experience, gentle spirit, and wit create a fun and enjoyable discussion on books. I also enjoy Thomas' poems and contributions to the conversation. The only suggestion that I have is that I wish there were an alternative platform besides FB for the LitLife discussion group ( Mighty Networks perhaps?) My family is traveling full-time now, so following along with the LitLife is now my bookclub. Thanks for enriching my life. Stories will change the world!
