Love this series. It’s smart and funny. Despite being a murder mystery, with all the eccentric and interesting characters, it’s quite comforting and enjoyable. Looking forward to the January installment.

The story was the third in the series. Always full of humor and drama. I was annoyed with Elliot though, but at the end he was able to pull it together and win Kate back.
I listened to the audio. Did not like the male narrator. There was no intonation or emotion in his voice. Very flat and boring. I did enjoy the wonderful CJ Bloom. She’s always great.

Perfect Balance of Plot and Romance

I love Karla Sorensen’s books. I’ve read them all and this one was the first that I listened to. Absolutely fabulous narrators. It’s sometimes hard to imagine the voice matching the character, but I thought both narrators were very good. Loved their voices. Also kudos to Karla for the Easter egg in the form of the nod to the Marriage Effect by mentioning ‘the red hair swimsuit model who married the football player!’ Can’t wait for the next one.
