loved everyhing about it!

Cal and Leo were amazing couple! give me Teacher and student taboo + bdsm + top notch spicy scenes and this listener is super happy!
The narration was amazing as always.
The only thing I had bothring me and to kinda laugh and ignore a bit, was the parts when they had their fun in Leo's office like no one can hear them outside? lol. cmon! I had to definitely suspend my belief on that part, but thats ok, its fiction.
if your looking for a 🌶🌶🌶 book + taboo (I mean not real one, cal was 19, but still) this one is for you!

Garrick Von Stein is the most frustrating person I’ve ever met, and yet, as soon as he calls me for help, I jump right in. Every single time. Why? I have no idea. I mean, I really do like to look at the dragon shifter king, but that doesn’t explain this strange pull, this need, I feel to be near him.

Dragon and a witch love story
Revisado: 01-19-25
This was my first Dragon shifter book I read/listened to. I was intrigued by the blurb and although its not my regular pick, I was curious about this troop.
story wise I loved it. the story line was interesting and had lots of action. at times I was very invested and felt my heartbeat goes up. For me, it was too slow burn and not enough spice.
The narrator was too dramtic in my opinion, and also very slow paced. I listen at 1.3 speed which I never did until now. The positive I found is that he has a special voice for every character which I liked.
overall, the book was good but probably wont listen to this narrator again.

Holloway: I’m the lead guitarist for Wayward Lane and I love everything about my rockstar life. Everything except my security detail. And the more popular our band becomes, the less freedom we have. All it takes is one overzealous fan and I find myself constantly shadowed by the one bodyguard I love to tease and evade: Dawson Everly. Mr. Tall, Dark, & Uptight lives by strict rules, and I’m a free spirit, so naturally, we argue at every turn. But my flirtation and his aggravation is a combustible mix and suddenly I discover there are some orders I don’t mind taking.

MM rockstar and bodyguard
Revisado: 04-21-24
This is the second book in the series. After the epic love story of Van and Brody we get to know Iain and Dawson. Although the obvious attraction between the two, Dawson tries to stay professional around Iain but it turns out, its not qn easy job. Iain is hot, sexy and hard to resist.
usually I dont like single dads stories but in this one it was very well incorporated in the story. maybe because Dawson is away from his kid most of the book its not that strong but also because the kid is 8 years old. anyway I loved this one.
The narration by Zachary Zaba is very good. he gave each character its own unique voice and feeling.
don't hesitate to listen to this. its worth the credit!

not the easiest books but amazing ending
Revisado: 04-06-24
this last book one in my opinion the roughest one of all. it deals with drug addiction and how it affects the surroundings and the addict himself.
While I liked the story and how it unfolded, I felt there were a few issues that were hard to ignore. I dont know whats the author deal with girls in the stories but she writes them so bitchy and annoying. The only girl that was positive was Katie, which was badass in every way possible.
The narration was really good and I enjoyed this book very much although the hard and dark theme of the book.
the HEA at the end definitely worth the struggle and heartache they had.

Great 2nd book
Revisado: 03-20-24
The book tells the story of Aston and knox. Its enemies to lovers with lots of angest and lots of heat!
I would recommend reading the TW warning as does describe abuse and drug use.
The narrators did an amazing job abd felt it was even better than the first one.
However, i did feel the book was a bit too long and some of the scenes dragged on and could definitely be shorter. I did appreciate the spicy scenes as im all about the 🌶🌶
Overall great book and cant wait for the next one.

organic chemistry between the main characteres
Revisado: 03-06-24
This book is half taboo (stepbrothers) and for this trope I loved it. There was an organic, natural development between the two that I really appreciated. they both helped, and supported each other.
I especially loved the family and friends reaction to their relationship. but.... and there is a but. It felt like the representation of women in this book wss a bit stereotypical. They kept saying how annoying women are, or how much high maintenance they are. and lets talk about the girlfriend. what a bi*tch she was. Honestly it wasnt really clear why they were even together. she was def a flat character.
for the narration, Michael Gallagher I already knew from a favorite book I have (Hi Dash 🥰) and he is amazing. from the voices, to the overall narration. on the other hand, the other narrator was new to me and he wasnt that good. Too breathy and felt like he was rushing somewhere all the time. his women voices were horrible.
overall, I liked it, and if you are not too picky about narrators you will definitely love this one.

For me, choice might as well be a wish. My parents died in a fiery car crash when I was barely sixteen. I’m gay. I’m also totally in love with my brother. I didn’t choose any of that. In fact, I’ve tried like hell to deny it. But here I am in all my gay, brother-loving, no-parentals glory. Technically, Max isn’t my brother. Not by blood anyway. That should make it less ick, right? Considering he calls my parents mom and dad, probably not. Also, did I mention he’s straight?

loved Max and Wes story ❤
Revisado: 12-18-23
First of all, I have read this book a while ago and was happy to get the chance to listen to it.
the story follows Wes, whose a swimmer in the prestige Elite swimming group in Westbrook. Wes lost his both parents in a car crash and was left with his two brothers. well, kinda. Win, his real brother, and Max, who was considered their brother but wasnt really. Wes is and always been in love with Max, which he thinks doesnt love him. but is he?
Wes and Max had rough life. both been through lots of sh*t stuff and their story of coming together is not easy.
Both narrators were new to me, and the one who did Max felt sometimes too monotone. I expected more from the sexy scenes. I felt like sometimes he missed some expressions that he read but didnt act out. for example, when he said Wes whispered and he didnt actually whispered it...
anyway, overall it was a good story. it has lots of angst and would advise checking the TW, as there are some big ones.

Good and not so good
Revisado: 12-08-23
lets start with the good.
the narration is on point. Kirt and Cooper did an amazing job with the narration and really brought the book to life.
the sexy parts were awesome and spicy. loved every minute of it, but wished it would be morw of it.
the not so good.
I had an issue with the confidence issue in Eli but also the on going checks that west did during their moments. this too much nice thing, is not my cup of tea. I felt it was too much and annoying. i get that Eli is young and went through a lot of bad stuff, but him keep thinking the worse about himself and that others didnt like him although ut was pretty obvious they did, was really annoying. west will tell him he wants him and he would keep questioning it. i was rolling my eyes too much at that point.
I liked the brotherly relationship between Grey and Eli, but didnt really understand why Eli felt he had to lie.
bottom line, I liked it. it was ok. probably would have given 3.5 stars but gave 4 for the narration.

Wonderful and heartbreaking story 💔
Revisado: 11-22-23
I loved Cash and Stone story. It's forbidden (professor-student and cheating), age gap (10 years), bi- awaking, and second chance troops.
From the get-go, the connection between these two is undeniable and hot AF. I loved how cash was just getting what he wanted with no going around the bushes. I could understand Stones' dilemma, but given the circumstances. But their pull was stronger than them, and they just went for it.
Unfortunately, something happened, and Stone vanished with no known reason, which left Cash heartbroken.
5 years later, he finished his Phd. and accepted a professor's position in Texas, and he couldn't imagine what this new chapter of his life stores for him.
The narrators did an amazing job and really managed to transfer all the raw emotions.
I totally recommend spending a credit on this book.

Wow! what a story.
Revisado: 10-03-23
honestly, i dont know what took me so long to listen to this one.
I read some reviews saying it's not the same as the others. it's very slow and spicy. well, it was a slow burn and was def less spicy than Tad's book, but it was amazing nonetheless.
I felt those emotions all the ways through. I could relate with both sides' problems, and at some point didnt know how they could work it through.
I loved how Breck dad came through for him. it just comes to show you that kids sometimes view their parents' actions in a different way of how it actually is. I just loved that in this story.
and how Breck grew and changed. swoon. and Kai, damn. he is just a wholesome person. I want a person like that in my life.
do I need to say how amazing Michael Dean is? just as usual, gives all the feels and more!
I wish I had more Kora books to listen to 😞
