Historia
"Happily Ever After" wasn't supposed to come with a do-over option. But when my husband of 20 years packs up and heads for greener pastures, and my son heads away to college, that's exactly what my midlife becomes. A do-over. This time, though, I plan to do things differently. Age is just a number, after all, and at 40 I'm ready to carve my own path. Eager for a fresh start, I make a somewhat unorthodox decision and move to a tiny town in the Sierra foothills.

A romantic at heart, Max believes in love; he's just not great at relationships. So when he finally meets a nice girl who's not blinded by his celebrity, he's feeling the heat - and the pressure to save her from herself.

of all the books in this series I have listened to this has been my favorite. Max is such a sweetheart and reminds me so much of my own prince charming, minus all the money.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Hilarious and delightful
Revisado: 01-17-21
This book laugh out loud funny. Vera was overly dramatic and so fun. Cal is an introvert that didn't know how to take her. These two were perfect together. I loved how they fed off each other to be the best possible people they could be. I will definitely be looking for more books by this author.

This book was hilarious. The story was well written and the science fiction of the book was great. I loves how all the world could connect to our current world but for one decision someone makes.

Historia
When they were growing up, Dana, Harper, and Tawny thought of themselves as “sometimes sisters". They connected only during the summer month they’d all spend at their grandmother’s rustic lakeside resort in north Texas. But secrets started building, and ten years have passed since they’ve all been together - in fact, they’ve rarely spoken, and it broke their grandmother’s heart.

Great story of creating an wonderful idea
Revisado: 10-11-18
I truly enjoyed this story. I love the idea of the backwards Christmas. I had wondered where the idea came from and now I know. The story of Jack and Joyce is what we all desire to have in a love; someone that is always there for you and has your back. I love how she knew him so well and had such confidence in him that she could convince others to support him as well.
a quick story that you can listen to while doing your shopping. I had me laughing in the aisles.

Weak lead character
Revisado: 09-29-18
I had really high Hope's for this book but the lead character was weak and paranoid. She works with the police every day but ran at the first sign of trouble. The plot was well put together but was predictable and the lead character that is supposed to be smart was made to seem like a complete weakling idiot.
