Long good listen
Revisado: 07-29-23
I enjoyed it but it dragged a little and the narrator was as good but I got annoyed after a while. The story was so so , it was very gruesome in part and I really cringed , I wondered why I was reading this in the middle of summer!. Good ending suspense and order. No spoiler alerts, it took a while to get there

How it got so many stars is a mystery to me !. It was a slog and I was distracted, no more than that . It was depressing and lingered on . I nearly gave up . The narration was very good , it’s saving grace .

A true love story
Revisado: 04-26-23
I loved it the accents were so credible , great history as well . It truly transported me . I did feel that it went on longer than it should , in light of the ending. I got a little bored with the in-depth love scenes and felt that it took away from some of the story . Good overall definitely worth a listen on a long journey .

A Suspense /Porno
Revisado: 03-11-23
The beginning was interesting but so incredulous, as if , ok! . The coincidences somewhat plausible , it was interesting then it just became so graphic with the porn stuff it was OTT , and as someone else mentioned the child abuse was sickening, I don’t know why I kept reading it . I finally got to the end which was quite good but I was relieved, not a nice book on a lot of levels.

She bursts into my life like a storm, and nothing is the same again. One by one, I watch as my friends fall under her spell. Only I see that her smiles don’t reach her cold, furious eyes. And when I’m accused of things I didn’t do, when my home is vandalized, I know she’s behind it. But she only lets her mask slip when no one is looking, so if I say anything, I’ll look crazy. So when the baby shower comes around, I’m sitting on a velvet sofa in a posh hotel room, surrounded by balloons. But that afternoon, I finally learn the unbelievable truth. There is no baby....

Historia
Britt-Marie can't stand mess. She eats dinner at precisely the right time and starts her day at six in the morning because only lunatics wake up later than that. And she is not passive-aggressive. Not in the least. It's just that sometimes people interpret her helpful suggestions as criticisms, which is certainly not her intention. But at 63, Britt-Marie has had enough. She finally walks out on her loveless 40-year marriage and finds a job in the only place she can: Borg, a small, derelict town devastated by the financial crisis.

Suspense,dragged out.
Revisado: 05-22-22
I was looking forward to reading this a lot of the reviews gave it the thumbs up . Well , I struggled to finish it only for the fact that I had invested my time , so I had to get to the plot , which I had figured out . I felt that there was way too much detail and silly exaggeration, it really went on, this story was so dragged out it was painful.
I usually like the narrator but they could have added another one to break up the monotony of it.
Very mediocre, not worth the reviews.

This is one of the best Audible books I’ve listened to, narrated really well , I’m from England so I really appreciate good accents!!. The story was very interesting, suspense was there and not predictable, although I did have an idea. Great book , don’t pass this one by.
