This is a GREAT story. The narrative is clear and well paced. The narration is superb. I found myself lost in this amazing story of perseverance and strength in the face of a life changing injury. Football fan or not, you will be drawn to the lessons this book offers and swept up in the miracles that faith, family, community and hard work bring about. If you,or a loved one, are facing a setback, a challenge, a test of faith that you didn’t see coming, this book is for you!

I don’t know what to say... A compelling story. A warm and engaging pace. With no conclusion. I felt the way I do after a great date that ends without the exchange of phone numbers. Like I want my time back.

I loved this story. Warm, interesting and a solid puzzle. Great characters and a sleuth I can’t wait to follow on another adventure!
And the performance was wonderful. I binged on it over three days of snow.

I loved this book! I bought it on a whim and am so very glad I did. The stories she tells range from touching to exciting. She paints a beautiful picture of a time and place that has now vanished. And the narration is exquisite. I had to stop at one point to see if it was narrated by the author, the voice was so authentic. Definitely one of my top five audio books ever!
