This was a great wholesome story. I was waiting for this book and it didn’t disappoint. I love how Ron Bulter brings the story to life and make you feel like you’re in the story. Please get him to narrate more of your books.

Missed the mark

I loved the story line but it took real effort to focus and connect to the story. I’m not sure why the narrators keep changing but it really missed the mark on this one. Ron Butler would have been the perfect choice to bring this book to life. I normally listen to the book over and over again just to be caught up in the story but I kept stopping on this one because I couldn’t really get into the story like the other books. It was because of the narration. If it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it. Stick with the narrator that works.

Another series to enjoy

I see Brenda starting another series that I can’t wait to enjoy. I love that Ron Butler narrated the book and hope he continues with the others. He brings life to the book and makes you feel apart of the story. The only downside I had with this book was I wanted more of Courtney’s love story. When I realized there wasn’t many more chapters just when I wanted more of them I was a little disappointed. I am looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next in everyone’s life.

Loving it

I love Brenda Jackson’s series with the Westmoreland and Madaris. It is fun to see how everyone has a story. Her books should be a show or something. The narrator was much better this time. I wasn’t swept into the story like I am when Ron Butler narrates but it seems like he will get there. I can’t wait to revisit the Atlanta Westmoreland with the preview of Dare’s son.

This was truly a love story and I want more. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Ron Butler is phenomenal. He brings the book to life as if I am watching it on the screen. This will be another one that I will listen to over and over again.
