Historia
Centuries ago, beautiful young Ilsbeth Clark was accused of witchcraft after several children disappeared. Her acquittal did nothing to stop her fellow townsfolk from drowning her in the well where the missing children were last seen. When author and social media influencer Elena returns to the summer paradise of her youth to get her family's manor house ready to sell, the last thing she expected was connecting with—and feeling inspired to write about—Ilsbeth’s infamous spirit. The very historical figure that her ex-childhood friend, Cathy, has been diligently researching.

Worst book eve!
Revisado: 04-27-23
The narrators are very good but unfortunately tell a tragic tale with no explanation as to the conclusion of the story.

Amazing!
Revisado: 04-15-20
The story will keep you guessing right up to the end. The characters are endearing as they weave this incredible tale in the backdrop of a Shakespearean acting curriculum at a prestigious art school.
The narration was just amazing. It was truly enjoyable entertainment at its best!

Historia
At a time when health care is going through major change, nurses - known for being highly capable in a crisis - are being forced to take on more responsibilities. In this increasingly stressful environment, nurses need new ways to make sure they are taking care of themselves so they don't succumb to the physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion of caring for everyone else. Although it outlines the problems nurses face, this book is not about trying to change the working environment.

A must read for all nurses!
Revisado: 12-22-16
I would recommend this book to all nurses especially those that find that they feel disillusioned by the nursing profession . This book presents several ideas to help find personal happiness and rediscover the joy of helping others. The book also gives insights and inspiration to create change if that is necessary. As a nurse with over 20 years experience, I highly recommend 'Nursing from Within!'

Historia
On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge.

Would not recommend.
Revisado: 03-30-15
What did you like best about Gone Girl? What did you like least?
I considered not finishing the book several times but was curious as to how it ended since I had heard that the ending was disappointing. The narration was excellent. The story however was not.
Most stories are about a character that has some flaw and throughout the story learns and grows and overcomes. This story is about two characters who start out ok and progressively get worse with an endless stream of poor choices. Our last glimpse of the two main characters is of them settling down into a miserable life they have created and are now trapped in.
Another reason I would not recommend this book is the language, graphic violence and sex.
This story will leave you feeling stressed, fearful, and not caring at all about the two main characters who have brought about their own tragic end.
I read to escape stress and relax. If this is your goal for pastime reading then this book is not for you.
Has Gone Girl turned you off from other books in this genre?
I still enjoy mysteries and thrillers.
What does Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Excellent narration!
Did Gone Girl inspire you to do anything?
To stop a book if it is not enjoyable after the first few chapters.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Awesome story!

This one kept me hooked from beginning to end! I haven't had a story do that for some time. This would make a great movie.
