Not many books have the ability to make me as Judy a visitor become so entrenched with the story that my personal emotions react!!
This writer has created a familial bond of strong ties to not just a characters famiky, but friends and an intense love of country that mirrors how I personally feel about the United States!!
This book grabbed me up and pulled me along the strong intense story about a young man who was bullied but works through his horrific issues to end up saving the people of his land with help from his companion as well as compatriots. His literal blow up ends after the loss of the dearest creature to him, but makes life cone back from the ashes.

Another amazing Pernish saga!

I love Anne McCaffery’s epic storytelling and her picturesque verbiage allows me to be an active participant in the story as I devour every word. I love revisiting every story by following each character’s exciting story.
Moreta is one such tale where dragons are a major part of the lives of her family, friends and relations as they use gifts like ‘mind-speech’ and converse with the dragons that help them all interact with patience and confidence ensuring everyone getting what is needed.
Wholeheartedly recommend this lovely book if your into dragons and fantasy stories. Anne McCaffery definitely uses generational familial histories, giving the reader a look into the lives of the people’s or other souls that take care of the main characters.

She’s got an amazing ability to bring pictures to the mind of the ‘reader’ completely with great clarity and gives life lessons of good and bad deeds. This series of books has no equal that I have yet read!
