Historia
This commentary on the Lord's prayer has been compiled from a series of broadcasts made by Father Alexander Schmemann on Radio Liberty to listeners in the Soviet Union. Because this single short prayer of Christ has everything that needs to be said about God, his kingdom, this life, and all of us, it is not an exaggeration to suggest that in this commentary, Father Schmemann provides us with a map for seeing anew the purpose and measure of our whole life.

Historia
Ancient Faith has produced a fresh update and redesign of a book cherished by a generation of seekers. Written in an accessible manner for the average lay person, Orthodox Worship offers insights into the Orthodox liturgy. Early Christians preserved a continuity of worship from the Old Covenant to the New, employing elements from the Jewish Temple liturgy, the synagogue liturgy, and the rituals of the Jewish home.

Orthodox Worship as it should be explained.
Revisado: 02-05-23
This is the book and information I have been looking for months to give me a deeper meaning of Orthodox Worship. Other books go over parts of worship, the meaning and only the Orthodox faith. This book helps the seeker and Catechumen a clearer understanding of why and how the Church liturgy is done in the Orthodox Church today. I enjoyed this book and audio greatly as I can now better follow along during with the Liturgy and recieve a deeper meaning of the curch as I move closer to the Holy Trinity. I most highly recommend this book to all seekers and Catechumens of the Orthodox faith.

Historia
St. Philaret of Moscow is the Russian Chrysostom. His mouth overflowed from a heart enlarged and illumined by the Holy Spirit, and his teaching has been a fountain of life to the Christian generations that have succeeded the great bishop. Here, for the first time in an Engish-language translation, we have a thematic collection of his sermons dedicated to the Great Feasts of the Lord.
