Historia
Kate, a former investigator for the Anchorage D.A. and now a P.I. for hire, is missing after a winter spent in mourning. Alaska State Trooper Jim Chopin, Kate's best friend, needs her to help him work a new case. He discovers her hiding out in Bering, a small fishing village on Alaska's western coast, living and working under an assumed name-- working hard, as eighteen-hour workdays seem to be her only justification for getting up in the morning.

Historia
When a new case sends her to investigate a local motorcycle club, covering as the president's new flavor of the week, the lines between professional and personal quickly start to blur. Although the Arrow's Edge MC stays mostly on the right side of the law since Ouray took the gavel, the appearance of the feds at their gate can still rattle his cage. When a string of robberies points squarely in Ouray's direction, he's forced to cooperate and put the blonde, prim and proper half-pint on the back of his bike.

Loved it!
Cynthia Riggs’ tone & style are superb.
Never disappoints! And Davina Porter illustrates the difference between reading a book and storytelling. I highly recommend this series.

Historia
Retired publisher Susan Ryeland is living the good life. She is running a small hotel on a Greek island with her long-term boyfriend Andreas. It should be everything she's always wanted. But is it? She's exhausted with the responsibilities of making everything work on an island where nothing ever does, and truth be told, she's beginning to miss London. And then the Trehearnes come to stay. The strange story they tell about an unfortunate murder that took place on the same day and in the same hotel in which their daughter was married fascinates Susan and piques her editor's instincts.

Great!
Revisado: 02-26-21
It’s a book within a book. This confused me at first, (I think that is the challenge of presenting this style of writing in audio) but once I realized what was going on, it’s great! Like Agatha Christie on steroids!
