You don’t need to be a woman or a tough woman to find this book inspiring. I am a 73-year-old man who was inspired as well as educated about life’s possibilities. I love the fact that the author went through the trouble of finding the scientific support of how all of these activities are good for your health and mind. And as someone who listens to audiobooks a lot more than reads them, I found this reader to be wonderfully empathetic. Everyone, regardless of gender and regardless of age, should read or listen to this book.

Great story. But couldn’t the narrator research the LA street names first?

Seriously. The narrator couldn’t correctly pronounce two of LA’s most well known streets! And can Robert please explain why Elvis doesn’t have a cell phone? I got why in the earlier books but I would think the world’s greatest detective wouldn’t want to waste time stopping at phone booths after 1990.

I burned through the Lincoln Lawyer series with gusto. I prefer the audio versions because I get my long walks in and more often than not, I walk longer than I intended. I’m not sure I will even continue listening to this however. The narration is so flat.
