How soon we forget

This is an amazing true history written in a novel form. I had never heard this story before and was astonished to realize that it happened very close to home. Moore's writing style immediately drew me in and I finished this book in a weekend, hurrying up and picking it up between activities so I could continue. The book is well researched and I now want to visit these poor victims' graves for myself and pay them my respect. It was also amazing to realize that the radium abatement was still going on when I visited this community in the recent past. How I never heard about this before is puzzling to me and goes to show how of how much importance it is to know our history. I also wonder if recent victims of events of the 21st century will be treated in history as these young ladies were.

A Must for Every Believer in Jesus

The Book of Gad the Seer in as amazing ancient text that helps us understand the Bible and some of its mysteries even better. once again, Dr. Ken Johnson does a fantastic job of helping to understand Gad's prophecies and showing relevance to today. I highly recommend this book.

Informative with a Spoonful of Humor

Does listening to the news get you down? Canary Cry News Talk is unlike any other news program out there. Basil and Gonz report up-to-date news in their unique, often quirky, bantering style. Their ability to deliver today's headlines with a Christ-centered world view is refreshing. Their humor keeps even the most difficult topics like "Flippy" (AI/robotics), world news, and the latest pandemic easier to swallow. That "spoonful of sugar" added to often hard-hitting, thoroughly researched stories would even make Mary Poppins proud of their well-rounded delivery of today's relevant topics. Even the titles of each podcast are thought-provoking and eye-catching, making the listener wonder, "What unique twist will Canary Cry News Talk use to report today's news?"

Canary Cry Newstalk - Current Events with a Twist

I've been enjoying listening to Basil and Gonz for many years, starting with Canary Cry Radio. They look for stories from all over the world that are generally overlooked by mainstream sources as well as current headlines. They relate these stories to their audience with a Biblical worldview. Their use of light-hearted banter gives comic relief at a time when so many of today's topics are depressing.

Probably my last Markus Ryker book

I have listened to all the Markus Ryker novels. The author's attention to detail is amazing. His knowledge and research are apparent in all the books. If someone is a fan of spy and political intrigue books, they may really enjoy it. The Beirut Protocol is my least favorite of the MR novels. Personally, I can do without gory details of the missions and one of the draws of the first books was the emphasis on Ryker's relationship to the Lord. The narrator is difficult to understand at times. Many consonants get slurred.

Wonderful books read by amazing actors!

The Chronicles of Narnia have been a favorite since grade school. With these great actors reading the stories, excellence meets excellence. Highly recommend!
