Historia
In sports, everybody loves redemption stories, the underdog who no one believes in but through sheer hard work wins it all. But no one tells the stories of the players who work hard and don’t make it. In pro football, 53 guys get on the roster. Ten make it to the practice squad. And then there’s the 64th Man - that’s Billy Logan (Cena), who seems to always be one spot from glory.

dear Lord
Revisado: 06-19-20
It dragged on, it was hard to have sympathy for the character even though her back story was very sad, the flow was rough and choppy...which must be hell if you actually read the book and not listen to it. This is definitely not one I will recommend.Sorry, Reece, this one is s major dud.

the chapter she said she would had left out.....should have been left out. I wanted to really enjoy this book but there were a few tangents that just lost my attention and made it hard to get back on track.

Sweet, sappy and informative, this book is lovely look into generational time period many of us have never experienced. To compare their then to our now is unrecognizable. I enjoyed the narrative and the story.

Historia
The day Anna McDonald's quiet, respectable life explodes starts off like all the days before: Packing up the kids for school, making breakfast, listening to yet another true crime podcast. Then her husband comes downstairs with an announcement, and Anna is suddenly, shockingly alone. Reeling, desperate for distraction, Anna returns to the podcast. Other people's problems are much better than one's own - a sunken yacht, a murdered family, a hint of international conspiracy. But this case actually is Anna's problem. She knows one of the victims from an earlier life.

Revisado: 01-08-20
No matter the ending of this book.....the main character is completely nuts! Thinking she knew a person so well from a brief encounter over nine years ago and then getting completely obsessed over his death is mental. Loved the narrator. she did amazing with all the accents!

Riley Kennedy’s emails keep getting crossed with her male colleague, Kennedy Riley. The infuriating man forwards them along with his annoying commentary and unsolicited advice. At least she never has to see him in person, since they work in different locations…until they come face to face at the office holiday party.

alittle too graphic for a Xmas story but...
Revisado: 12-11-19
my biggest complaint is if you are going to have a male and female reader....have then read their character the whole time. don't flip flop. The story line was a tad cheesey but that's ok lol. it just didn't need the sexual content.....it's a Xmas book!

Eh, should have been read by a man
Revisado: 11-12-19
Please do not get me wrong. I love Amy McFadden but she wasn't right for this book. The writing was lazy and not very suspenseful for a suspense thriller. Plot was good and would have been much better had more homework been done. Overall, I won't be reading or listening to this author again.
