I listened to this audiobook twice and thought it felt incomplete. So I ordered the kindle. The audio book ends on page 80 of a 326 page book. THIS IS NOT THE FULL BOOK. I am so disappointed.

The Narrator is good, as it should be. The author does a great job keeping you guessing on what is reality. Unfortunately the same flip floppiness applies to author choices on the ending. I hate the real reality the author chose. Then she has a final conversation between the the first and second wife that I love, but then it goes south in a really bad way and I am just irritated. In my opinion the husband got away with way less than he deserved. In all honesty what is the definition of marriage and the definition of a crazy person. The definition of marriage for society is legally signing that slip of paper and the definition of a crazy person is someone who doesn't fit in society. As you read this book think about what your definition of a marriage is and a crazy person and you tell me. Who was married and who is crazy.

The performance by Zachary Quinto is absolutely perfect for this character it has both the air of sci-fi with the tone of 50's detective. This grounds it in the realm of possibility.

The fact that this book is so short and it is so well thought out with plenty of theological and moral questions is a testament to the authors skill. Through out the course of this mystery/case you get a view from every angle of how having this technology would apply in our world. In terms of finances, race, class, insurance, crime, mortality, morbid curiosity, and you can't help but ponder the moral implications and the long term effects on our society and humanity.

The book was interesting and enlightening. A good introduction into philosophy, morality and how we define it. It was hard to discern which question were important in the audio version. This book was much easier to read and I ended up buying the kindle version. Now, the issue with the audio version is that the organization of the information was organized the way the book is. Which was 4 chapters of question in different categories, then the 5th chapter is the moral barometer based on how you answered the questions. For audio purposes it really should have been: Chapter 1 then the moral barometer on that chapter. Then chapter 2 followed by the moral barometer on that chapter. . . And so on. I really just recommend getting the Kindle version.

A very magical adventure for young children. I am enchanted by the magical addition of sound effects to enhance the story telling all audio books should learn from this one.

What made the experience of listening to Cry Wolf the most enjoyable?

The Voice Acting really brings out the characters and story. Charles voice is so good, it is impressive. Bran's voice is an improvement on the Novella and Asil's voice is absolutely perfect as well. I am in love with the sound of both Charles and Asil's voices.

What other book might you compare Cry Wolf to and why?

I have not read enough novels to answer this question.

Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only this book series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The suspense, I had to know what was going to happen.

Any additional comments?

The plainer Bran's voice is the better.

Best Voice Actor I Have Heard

What did you love best about Alpha and Omega?

I find the story interesting and the concept of people being who they are.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Anna, hands down. I would not be reading it if the leading lady was not someone I identified with.

What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?

I was initially disappointed and surprised by the choice of a male voice actor. The author is female, I am female, the protagonist is female and the cover shows the female character in human form 4 out of 5 of the covers. The feeling quickly dissipated though. Mr. Graham is an extraordinarily good voice actor. He made Charles character for me. I really had no feeling about Charles character when I READ the first few books. Listening to Graham's portrayal of Charles is so spot on. It improved the books for me and Anna and Charles relationship.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

You feel way to many feelings during this book, which is the good thing about it. The only definite thing is the drive to know what happens.

Any additional comments?

Brans voice isn't quite right.

Would you try another book from Theresa L. Crenshaw and/or Theresa L. Crenshaw?

For a book about hormones and how they affect our actions, the author makes a lot general statements that she does not back up with evidence. I really hope the full book is better substantiated. One author that probably should not do her own audio book.

Has Alchemy of Love and Lust turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, but glad I used this audio as a preview to the book. I won't be buying the book.

Would you be willing to try another one of Theresa L. Crenshaw’s performances?

No. She sounded like she was referencing a breathy Marilyn Monroe.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Frustration

Voice acting was fine, editing needed work.

Would you try another book from Siobhan Fallon and/or Cassandra Campbell?

Maybe. It wasn't terrible, but not a polished product from both the author and the audio.

Would you be willing to try another book from Siobhan Fallon? Why or why not?

I would, but unlikely. The author hasn't finished her thought process and so neither does the book. Although I appreciate the glimmer into the world, not a complete thought and also not enough information for the reader to come to their own conclusion.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The voice was the right choice for stories about people stuck waiting.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No, Not without a major rewrite. You could easily weave the stories in and out of each other, but none of the stories have a real conclusion, which is something a movie needs.

Any additional comments?

It was hard to tell when we changed stories. In the editing process there was not enough blank time between the end of a story, the title of the next and then the beginning of the story. This was especially a problem since the authors stories abruptly end. Since it is the same voice actor and she doesn't change her voice, it would be helpful for some kind of noise and air time (pause) between stories.
