Leave The Classics Alone
Revisado: 04-21-24
I am a huge fan of My Favorite Hisband. This reenactment is just so darn silly and takes the guts and fun right out of the story and the integrity of the original. Please do yourself a favor and listen to the original with Lucille Ball, Richard Denning, and Gale Gordon. That is well worth your time and money, this edition is not.

This is not Murder Castle. Somebody got the recordings wrong and mixed up. I don't know what episode this actually is.

This is a great book. It is killed by terrible narration. It really is a great adventure/sci-fi story full of lots of great subjects. I read this book first and absolutely loved it. I was excited to hear it on audiobook but the narration took me out of the story. Please don't judge this book by the audio or morons who can't handle more than one topic at a time. Please read this one and you'll enjoy it for sure.

Historia
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

A Wonderful Fantasy Adventure
Revisado: 05-02-23
I absolutely loved this book and series so far. I'm not normally a fantasy fan and this story absolute swept me away. I admittedly saw the movie first and loved it. That led me to the book, and the book is a masterpiece in my opinion. I see a lot of the reviews complain about Jesse Bernstein's narration and I get most of the complaints but personally I thought he did a fine job. I really got lost in the world and charachters and enjoyed the ride completely. I couldn't recommend Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children any higher.

Historia
Our Miss Brooks was a hit on radio from the outset; within eight months of its launch as a regular series, the show landed several honors, including four for Eve Arden, who won polls in four individual publications of the time. Arden had actually been the third choice to play the title role. Harry Ackerman, at the time CBS's West Coast director of programming, wanted Shirley Booth for the part.

Great And Hilarious Show/Collection
Revisado: 05-02-23
Our Miss Brooks is a great and hilarious show and is probably my favorite old time comedy. Now I wanna clear up something from another review that may be confusing for people. One other review states that Eve Arden leaves the show early on and the quality drops. I have no idea where this reviewer got this idea. Shirley Booth played Miss Brooks in the first audition show, which is track 2. After that Eve Arden took over for the 2nd audition show and never left the show, she was with it the whole run and the quality is top notch from that 2nd audition to the end. Now the quality of the shows is up and down in this collection. Most episodes are top notch but there are a handful that time was not kind to the recording. Also whoever put this together at points has episodes weirdly out of place at a few points and doubles the recording in a few spots. Overall though I think this is a great collection for an excellent show and I can't recommend it highly enough. Our Miss Brooks forever!!!!!!

From the author of Phantasm Exhumed comes Slash of the Titans, a revealing look at why it took New Line Cinema nearly 10 years and four-million-dollars to find the right screenplay for Freddy vs Jason. Featuring new interviews with the original writers and filmmakers, Slash details the production's troubled history from the surprise ending of Jason Goes to Hell all the way to the crossover’s red carpet premiere.

A Masterful Analysis
Revisado: 04-21-23
This a great in depth look at the long development of Freddy vs. Jason. Full of interviews with the many people who took part in creating the movie and great insight. My only complaint about the audiobook is the narrator. He reads it so fast it's hard to absorb everything at times and he feels rushed. A great book and overall audiobook for these great franchises meeting.

Historia
A group of strangers is pitted against one another in Matt Shaw’s latest extreme horror. The game is simple. Each of the contestants is asked a question: How much to complete a certain task? They then have two minutes to name a price, but if they go too high and their fellow contestants are cheaper, they have just priced themselves out of the game. The trick is to go high enough to win a good amount of money but low enough to ensure you are the winner.

A Game You Don't Want To Win
Revisado: 07-16-21
This wonderful story is about a social experiment in game form. How much will it take to get you to do some of the most vile and disgusting stuff that can be imagined. Matt Shaw weaves a tight tale that keeps you wrapped up tight and most definitely makes you sick at a few points. I highly recommend this fun tale and I can't wait to read/hopefully hear part 2.

Historia
T-Rex isn't the violent, blood-thirsty dinosaur people believe it to be. He's just grumpy and you would be too if you were sexually frustrated. With arms so small he can't take care of his own business and with other dinosaurs running from him he is left to roam the land with a bad case of blue balls. Gark isn't a dinosaur though. He's one of the two-legged hairless apes who are new on the scene. And he knows just what Rex needs to mellow him out.

Different Strokes
Revisado: 04-04-18
What made the experience of listening to Fisting Rex the most enjoyable?
Mostly the sheer novelty of it made it amusing but also the tale of our protagonist.
What did you like best about this story?
Its originality and it did paint a great picture of dinosaur movies I've seen set in its age before.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes and I did. Will also listen to it again.

Revisado: 04-04-18
Would you listen to Solutions, Inc. - Vol. 1 again? Why?
I've already listened to it multiple times and will again and again.
What other book might you compare Solutions, Inc. - Vol. 1 to and why?
Solutions Inc. Vol. 2 is also great obviously. Pretty much any Sci-Fi program Colonial Radio Theatre does is comparable in how it takes you away.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to many. This is in my top 5.
Any additional comments?
I hope there are more of these.
